My pastor is black, his wife is white. The church is in a small town in the country.
I never realized that there were so many interracial couples in this area...but they come, like moths to a light, to my church. Seeing an interracial couple is unusual in the area I live. Seeing an interracial couple as the head of a church is absolutely unheard of. So, everyone knows it's safe and accepted at my church...
Makes me wonder. If you had a 10 and a 2 couple running a church...would the whole church be full of visually odd couples? Everywhere you look you see Christie Brinkleys on the arms of Billy Joels?
I wonder if that church needs a sound guy? I'm sure my current church will get along fine without me...
