when i worked for the chiropractor, i came across lots of people. the ones who stood out the most were:

1) those who smiled all the time
2) those who remembered my name
3) the awkward people cuz... well... they are awkard lol
4) but most of all, the elderly patients who were always so joyful! i could be having a bad day, and they would brighten it up. they were always cracking jokes. i miss it.

Maybe it was a pessimistic slip haha

Can't believe I am responding to myself after just mentioning talking to myself in the last post - but I can not edit the post after 5 minutes.
I meant to say optimist.
I meant to say optimist, not pessimist.

I believe people have a light around them. It admits warmth. They wear a smile in their eyes that radiates joy or a quiet peace from their soul. A person's words, the sound of their voice, or the touch of their hand.

We know that God created each of us with an eternal soul. I believe that the God loving soul shows itself if we bother to look. I would like to believe it's true that those people who make a lasting impression...is someone's soul we will be sharing a task with in heaven.

What makes someone memorable? That's hard i mean i do remember this one girl who stood up for me when i was super shy at school so that was kinda cool uhhhh...maybe i should be serious? Kinda? Hmm well it is very admirable to stand up for what you believe, i remember most things but things that actually had an impact on me were usually when people just helped me when i didn't know how to feel or think or what to do, my sister when i was like 10 or something told me some...stuff about death that i still can't forget it wasn't biblical but it helped me then it was more of the effort she put in to try to make me feel comforted and i think that's important to me cuz i don't really trust people and if I'm vulnerable, when i can easily be hurt or teased or whatever it's nice to know that there are people that actually care if that makes sense. I obviously have serious trust issues lol. Those people that helped me push myself that believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself that's good too. And if we wanna go to like romantic stuff ig pretty eyes are nice the ones you can't stop looking at, but you don't wanna look at them cuz they might get the wrong idea cx. And like being bold that's super cool like if you can do something regardless of your fears, and in some ways vulnerable girls cuz those situations make you wanna help and it lets you know they trust you enough to show you that side of them..... Ok I'm done NO MORE I'm not gonna start pouring out feelings and stuff that's just lame. Does this even answer the question? Who knows maybe I shouldn't post it? Nahhh

I was really wondering... a pesimistic nature? Good that you woke me up, and good that you corrected yourself.

People who are kind :) A kind person shines and that makes them memorable :)

I can still remember when I was just a kid...I used to accompany my grandmother to gather firewoods near the roads...

One day we were walking under the hot sun...hungry,sweating and thirsty...we saw a bunch of armed men. As a kid I was scared especially when one of the soldiers called me  "hey kid come on here" hesitant and scared I slowly walked toward them. I was looking at their long guns when a man handed me a loaf of bread and a coca-cola softdrink...I was amazed! In my mind these men in camouflage are not scary at all!!! Up to this day I can still remember their act of kindness toward me and my granny ❤ I can't remember their faces but the kindness they've shown is forever in my heart :)

Those who are naturally funny :D they are awesome and unforgettable :)

Gentle and calm people :) how the can control their emotions and reactions in every situation they are facing.

Straightforward person :) A person who is straightforward makes my heart jump sometimes :D but they are special :)

The older I get, the thing that makes someone memorable to me is person who does their best to follow Gods ways; humbleness, maintain a pessimist attitude, and try to keep some of that child like joy and innocence.
I seem to maintain a pessimist attitude as well.

Id say a genuine smile and the look in their eyes. When I first met my bf his smile outshined everyone around him and I was instantly attracted to him. His personality became captivating and I was able to trust him entirely, I did in fact tell him this over Christmas❤❤

Yes, I do try to main a positive attitude. I was just having a little fun with a typo of another member who mistakenly typed pessimistic instead of optimistic. :)

I think you mean an, optimist?......

I don’t forget eyes. It’s like my mind takes a picture of them. Not the color, but the light or sparkle, ya know? Like life is just shining out from them & refreshes your soul. Some people’s eyes are flat and they look like mannequins. It’s hard to interpret them because they’re hidden. But I try anyhow because I enjoy interacting with people and making them smile.

A person’s voice is the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] most memorable thing. Some folks’ voices convey such warmth and honesty; they draw you in like a hug and make you remember them. Others’ voices are prickly or brassy, just noise that keeps you at arm’s length. I try to remember to give them their space.

I hardly recall much else about a person unless it really stands out or is pointed out to me. I was friends with a woman from church for years and never noticed she was missing a finger until the day she asked me why I never noticed it. LOL!! She was such a lovely, fascinating soul that her light & joyfulness kept my attention off any unusual attribute.

My husband was a tall, dark and huge (overweight) biker with numerous tattoos, earrings, & a leather jacket. He intimidated people who didn’t know him personally. He was also a successful businessman by day. Haha! His deep, shiny eyes and animated voice reflected a childlike spirit that drew me right to him. It was impossible for me to forget what a delightful adventure it was just to be near him. I'm 100% sure he's a joyful attribute to heaven.

Online, it’s very different. I don’t remember too much about people other than they draw others close to them or push people away. I easily remember the CC people who are fragrant, lively and warm. Those are the vulnerable friends who invite you into their heart. I feel happy when I see their user name in a thread. I’m also reminded of those who are flat and hard to communicate with due to the layers of “stuff” that keep them distant. They kinda let you know they aren’t interested in letting you in, but wanna make sure you know they’re there. I try to connect with them but most times I fail & gotta give it to God.

I remember eyes too...not the color, but the impression they're giving.

Evil people don't have eyes, just hollowness, it's so strange looking them in the eyes, there's no one present, but emptiness...and you can't talk them out of anything...they don't care...they don't hear...and they don't fear...

You may be right but sometimes others "like it" when you pour out your feelings, but yeah good to keep yourself in check if you feel you might go overboard or say something you feel you shouldn't.

Why thank you Mr. 74! That makes you and the United States Internal Revenue Service that find me memorable. I'm in debt to you both.

I'll tell you what I find memorable and you, Christian74 and a few others, have no short supply. It's gratitude. Thankfulness. An ability to see each new day as an epiphany. An innate understanding that no two days are ever exactly alike. Not alike in the color of the sky, the sound of the wind or the happenstance of an hour. Gratefulness begets awareness, courage, and even valuation of others and of a moment. It's animity is covetousness. MissCris comes to mind. She's a fellow planet hopper, probably riding the supermoon tonight. Saw her slay a dragon once. She reckons she's lost then always finds her way home. Sweetmorningdew. Seoulsearch for sure, Pipper. Pipp's simplicity is an art form. Tourist. Tourist has a real grip on loss and gain and found courage in his gratitude. He's kind of a hero of mine.

I'm not a person who much believes in coincidence. Several times today I thought about AuntieAnt. Then I get on line tonight and find her friend request! I'm grateful AuntieAnt! I'm grateful.
