Yes, it is unusual. I wonder if it has anything to do with my church being a Lutheran church. Conservative in beliefs and values (save for theistic evolution - Martin Luther wouldn't be happy -grrr!) It has a very strong emphasis on the Word of God and Law and Grace. In the past few years, we've also grown more in touch with Holy Spirit in our lives.

I love God with my whole heart
I value my friends and family
I strive to make other people's lives easier
Been told that I cook and bake well
Other than that, I don't know:confused:

Sometimes you just gotta go with the notions in life. Try avoiding the bar and casino most definitely. If anything, singles conferences locally in your area or adult groups in your church. Or even the Internet since that's how a lot of people communicate through now. Just be cautious. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 6:14: "do not unequally yoked with unbelievers." I hope this helps.

It is always out of balance in the way NOT desirable for the observer it seems. :D But seriously I have been in a few churches including oversees. If there are lots of ladies they are usually 16 or 20 at most. Then they disappear and reappear at 40 or 35 with kids. Eithe single mum or husband doesnt go to church or to another church ( had that a lot too!)
