I have a friend in prison. I have never visited him there, and the nature of the crime disturbed me. I tried to contact him, but he never replied, and I don't want to push.

I have another friend that went to prison because of a drug crime he did before he was saved. I chatted a bit with him after he went there. I would have visited him if it was nearby.

When a friend commits a crime it is bound to be a period of grief depending on the gravity of the crime. My friend committed murder. For me that was a shock. I lost a friend that day, because he isn't the person I thought he was.

So my answer is. If someone here that I like, for instance Seoulsearch is sentenced to prison because of a mishap, I would visit her if I was on the continent. If she had murdered a mutual friend, no. That would be too much to take in and she would be the person I thought she was.

Mistrust and grief or not. It is not up to me to judge.

Hmm.

I find it more than a little disturbing that I am being used in this example, even thought at one time in my life, I did used to visit people in prison who had committed murder.

But maybe I can return the favor.

If Toinena committed murder, I would want to know why and how it was done.

But most likely, I would still try to visit her if I could.

This is hypothetical... and the crime I was referring to is not a crime I would expect you to ever commit... I might come to visit you anyhow.

And you were the first person I would like to visit whether in prison or not... hence the referral....sorry

If I was in prison, I hope one of y'all would bake me a cake with a file in it.

Just one piece of advice, folks, stay away from people in prison. Mostly they try to think of how they can manipulate you or in other ways exploit you. Or accuse you of something for extortion purposes. Empathy is not what they are well known for.

Most of the inmates are in prison for good reasons.

The file on me is too big to carry. They probably know everything on me, right down to the time in first grade when I had to stay after school because I fiddle-farted around and didn't get my work done on time.

Holy carp, this thread has taken a weird turn...

It’s the CC turn😛.

First cross road, take a left, then drive a piece before you take a u turn and then drive directly over yonder.

Is that files on paper, metal files or files on a USB flash drive?

Either way it seems dangerous...

Just ensure you examine the cake bite with your fork before entering it into your mouth.
