LOL! That is my closet!!!!!!

Gabe, I don't expect you to understand, but you can wear a very plain dress, but if you have the perfect shoes, it becomes awesome. :) Have you ever noticed that in beauty pageants they don't wear flipflops in the bathing suit competition? Why? Because heels make their feet look prettier, their legs look longer and they give the illusion of being taller.
Honestly my attention dropped dramatically... no insult intended I was entertained by how quickly it dropped it made me grin. I do understand what you're saying about shoe-.... ugh I REALLY can't talk about shoes :D

Its so cool though I'm at an energetic mood but once the topic of shoes comes up I feel sleepy... Its like an on off switch! :D Sho-... -_-

Women are very sensual beings. We are very aware of sounds, scents, textures, colors, etc., and we are affected by them. I don't have any scientific data to support this YET(though I'll be googling my fingers off in a bit), but it sure seems like we are definitely moreso than guys.

Which leads me to 2 questions:

1. Are guys as sense oriented/sensual as women; and
2. Do most guys understand the difference between sexuality and sensuality?

P.S. - If you've ever wondered what makes a "ladies man" a ladies man, it's usually that he clearly knows this stuff.

1. Yeah, like we're gonna answer that.
2. Uh, yeah I think most guys would catch the 'ns'!

1. Depends on the guy. In general, who knows?

2. Yes, but also in general, for a guy who is largely stimulated by any of his senses (vision, hearing, touch...then probably even taste and smell...) sensuality will lead to sexuality...

Seriously...

1. talented male artists and interior designers are

2. From the Merriam-Webster's dictionary:

Sexuality - the quality or state of being sexual; the condition of having sex; sexual activity
Sensuality - the quality or state of being sensual
Sensual - relating to or consisting in the gratification of the senses, or the indulgence of apetite

So...

Sexuality means having to do with sex.
Sensuality means having to do with sensory pleasures (in general).

And no, I'm not a ladies man. I just play one on the internet. ;)

I agree with you, Gabe. I think that men are far more sensual than most will admit and it's tough for women to understand why. Look at the beautiful paintings, tender/touching/passionate photography and music. Poetry. Literature. It's definitely there. Can't for the life of me see any benefit to hiding it.

Honestly I'm one of those sensual guys and I laugh at other guys insecurity to share opinions openly on what they like because it appeals to their senses. I mean I laugh in a positive,'way to go' for being yourself. I like smells tastes sounds and hugs and kisses from the ladies ( mom aunts and grandma :p) Any private things Ill happily share with my wife or gf.

But guys have likes and dislikes its not mysterious just ask, if they like or dislike and find out the truth by saying,"because its going to be around often.". :)

Though they might not entirely make sense, I submit these as my response to your latter post, Miss Jullianna.

"Only in their dreams can men be truly free" by John Keating - YouTube

The art, music, and other things you see are from those men (and women) whom have the ability to express how they think and feel.

Many cannot. Thus, though we all have senses (some more refined) and are all sensual, the context of the word makes all the difference in your meaning.

Intentions...what is the heart of the matter?

Abair, I'm just assuming, because of where it says you live, that your dealing with a lot male superiority and that it really fustrates you. I'm sorry if that's the case. Yes, there are a lot of men who do come across that way. But not all. At the same time, a lot of women have the same attitude.

Abair, The Bible says that men and women are equal. There is no male or female in Christ. Not all males have a superiority complex.

P.S. women are better anyway ;)

No its not. Men clearly held down women for centuries regardless. However in the more modernized countries this has become mostly a thing of the past due to people recognizing that the genders are infact equal.
