I think people use it as an excuse because they have been taught that race is an excuse for behaviors or lack of.

It is so common for people to make generalizations and when they can't see the truth in a situation (ie. a person not liking your rudeness), they feel the need to explain it and use race as an excuse. It in turn makes you look like the bad person. Though I believe that racism is a huge problem and I wish it didn't exist, I think racism is an overused excuse of many today.

I personally believe racism is stupid. All the colors in the rainbow are here for a reason so lets love and accept them all. If you are personally attracted to a certain race when it comes to dating that's fine. I've met many nice people of all races and I only judge on character. I don't care what you look like,if you are nice to me I will be nice to you.

Well the "race" card isn't really an argument. There is only one race the human race, unless you are inplying that there were multiple Adams and Eves, which is an error. The skin colors are only effects of the eviroment on people's genes. This is also why evolution and creationism are false. Intellgent Design, which says Gd created everything and allows His creatures to adapt to their environment, not one speices to a different one like evolution but like a small change like a rabbits fur from brown to white. The rabbit is a similar example to some men have darker skin than others.

The race card is an attempt to divide everyone so that God's people cannot be truly one by saying that there are many races when there is clearly only one, the human. You can see how the idea of many races has affected people such as KKK or Black Panthers and many other groups.
