You have to surrender your woman card if:

-If you haven't bought anything from Victoria's Secret.
-If you don't go crazy with the Victoria's Secret Semi Annual Sale.
- If you are not willing to kill another woman to get something in ANY store.
-If you haven't been in love with: The Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Aaron Carter, or some other guy of that kind when you were little.
- If you don't feel like the most complete woman in the world when you go shopping (whatever thing you buy).
- If you don't love looking at purses too expensive for you to buy.
- If you haven't gone to online stores just to look and imagine, not to buy.
- If you don't feel more beautiful and powerful when you get: your nails done, a new haircut, new clothes, new makeup, etc.
- If you haven't spent hours talking about a new desperate housewives, gossip girl, or sex and the city, episode.( or any show of the like)
- If you didn't actually get mad at some guy character on TV for cheating or lying to some woman character of the same show.(Ex: Spencer Pratt always got me on my nerves)
- If you got mad because the woman of the show mentioned above didn''t break up with the guy mentioned above.
-If you haven't cried in a movie.
-If you didn't like any disney princesses movies.
-If you don't care a bit about what you are wearing.
-If you don't know what Paris Hilton was wearing in certain Hollywood event 3 yeas ago.
-If you don't care a bit about why Jennifer Lopez is divorcing Marc Anthony

(okay last two were sarcasm)
Ok, guess I have to get the Tomboy card cause a good hunk of these, I don't do.

Yea, I'm gonna need one of those Tomboy cards too. According to all those lists, I'm not very girly at all. I didn't even like the Notebook! To be fair, I don't care for Transformers either.

Hmm..weird. I sometimes consider myself a tomboy too. I guess I like to be 50/50.
I don't know how to cook a meal, I like sports, videogames, and as a little girl didn't like barbies.
The conclusion of this should be that we all have our girly and tomboy moments:rolleyes:

Exactly, kayem, the last half hour of The Notebook is the part I like :)

Favorite sceen from Pretty Woman - when she buys all of that stuff and confronts the snooty store clerks

I cry at a lot of movies...tv shows...sometimes even the news..but don't tell anybody ;)
At the news hahahah. I get you, I cried at the news when the Japan tsunami was on a lot. I seriously almost cry at the last HP movie.....so your secret is safe with me ;)

Yeah, I agree...it's good when topics like this are all in fun; I guess we just have to be careful to keep it that way.

I think that we are all simply individuals. Men or women we all have certain characteristics that are our own. Society of course will always have ideas about what is "feminine" and what is "masculine", but we are each different and unique, no matter what the world says.

I myself enjoy certain things that could be considered feminine, such as cooking & baking and even cleaning. I also like some of the more girly movies. But I am also a farm girl and some of the responsibilities of farm work are not necessarily very "feminine" at all. Things such as mucking out horse stalls, cleaning chicken pens, plucking chickens and putting up fences for horses. These are all things that I have done/still do. I also enjoy ice-fishing and cleaning fish, also baiting my own hooks, camping (without major modern conveniences), and yes, I do not mind outhouses. I don't spend hours and hours on my hair, paint my nails or get manicures or eyebrow waxes...so going by society's opinions, I may not be too girlish.

I just think we all should be ourselves, and be the best people we can be with the gifts, strengths and interests God has given us. And although it is very hard, we should not compare ourselves to others too much. :)

I agree. Wouldn't it be boring if we all, male or female, fit into the same mold?

For sure Jullianna :) I think it would be very boring. God made us all so different, and sometimes we forget that that is a good thing. It also means that we can really help each other & that we can learn from one another too.

- If you can't drive a stick in heels
- If you can't run when your life is in danger without twisting your ankle and making a guy carry you, which causes him to get shot like they do in the movies
- If, like the goofy women in the movies, you twist your ankle and cause the good guy to get shoot, and then you leave the gun laying around for the bad guy to grab instead of picking it up and defending the good guy who got shot because of your inability to put one foot in front of the other.
- If you find the hairy dude in the man card thread attractive
- If you do your nails with a pocket knife
- If you have never played a game requiring a blindfold at a bachelorette party
These could cross over onto the man card thread...

Not sure if I still qualify as a woman ;), but I can also cook up a few things in the kitchen (pasta dishes and lemon bars), try to keep things neat and tidy, and yes... if need be *grumbles* I occasionally even wear a dress and heels... Though judging from the other thread, it sounds like I may have to fight a few of the guys for the nicest pair of heels! :)
No need for that. I guarantee you're not my size.

That's why we go to the bathroom en masse for our secret sisterhood meetings, huh? All rules must be changed once any man begins to decipher them. Oops...I've said too much.
