they are ALL wrong

where would you even find the 'right jeans' anyway
cant be bothered trawling shops to find them under ten zillion different styles all the same colour ugh
About 30 years ago, the craze for women was "Rocky" brand jeans. They fit well, and notoriously accentuated a woman's figure. They were not outlandish, they were simply designed for the female shape. I don't know if they are still made, or not....

For men..... Wrangler 47 MWZ..... done deal.

 Nope.... the standard boot cut blue jean.... it used to be the 13MWZ, but has become the 47MWZ. That's what I wear, anyway....
I haven't worn "slim" cut jeans since..... well, ever. I used to wear Levi's, but switched over to Wranglers a bunch of years ago...

Love em?
Hate em?
Don't care?

Please I want to know.

I'm guess Im in the don't care category. I dont care for jeans. I dont know why they are so popular. I dont know why everyone wears them, for me they are just so uncomfortable and expensive. There are much more comfortable and stylish clothes you could wear, in other colours.

When I was younger I was pressured into wearing them cos they were the 'cool' and trendy item to wear, but I never liked them.

My reasons...well I will expand on them further, but just want to bullet point why they are not in my wardrobe anymore

-pockets? too many, and on your butt, but you cant fit anything in them and its like you are feeling your butt when you slip your hand in there...or someone elses hands?!
-waistband...either too tight or need a belt to hold them up, and EXTRA item to buy
- creates muffin top when low waisted
-when high waisted is hard on your stomach
-cuts off circulation when too tight
-fades
-gets torn and holey so look like you wearing rags
- take ages to dry
-heavy when wet
-dont keep legs warm when its winter
-held on with rivets?!
-everyone wears them, boring
- mostly come in blue or black, black for gang members, blue for everyone else who cant be bothered
- then have to find matching top
-skinny ones nightmare to put on and pull off
-baggy ones fall down, your knickers exposed or worse, g-string

just bad bad bad fashion...
sorry...if you love jeans! you can state your case for them I dont mind, want to hear all points of view
There used to be a guy member here who bought woman jeans at his local Goodwill. He said that he looked good in them, or was it with them. Something to that effect. He did not know that they were woman's jeans when he bought them but apparently he decided to keep them for himself.

Love them. Levi's especially relaxed fit and in bitter winter with a pair of comfy favorite leggings to keep my legs warm are a comfy must have.

Then we need to have a whole lot more disagreement. There should be at least three sides, all looking up spurious internet references and claiming each other is sadly mistaken.

So far we have way too much consensus. Only one person dislikes jeans. All the rest of us seem to agree a lot. We need to really step up the dissension and we are way too far behind on contention.

I like my Fashion Nova jeans
One thing I don't know about those jeans - I'm just curious - what hole does your foot hit first when you put them on? Does it take several tries to hit the right hole?

Haha. I can see why you'd think that. It's not that hard though.

Black jeans = for gangs? 😂😂😂😂
Where is this happening?

I wear black, green or gold jeans. Not blue. And I'm not in a gang, nor have I ever been. Nor ever wanted to be or even been affiliated with those who were.

Need to wear a belt? So? I've had one belt for 10 years now, and see no reason I'll be replacing it anytime soon. It's not really a big deal.

Boring? I know what I'm going to wear. Don't need to spend 20 mins a day fussing with an excess of options about what I'm going to wear.

It takes two or three fingers to pull my wallet out of my back pocket, not my entire hand. And even if it did its on the wallet, not my butt. And even if I did have things in my back pocket that used my hand to retrieve I'm not grabbing my butt, nor has that idea ever crossed my mind.

4 pockets are too many? As a man a wallet, keys and phone can take up three pockets.

Jeans come in different types of fabric. The jeans I wear are thinner material, and softer than regular jeans. Thus more comfortable.
And they're among the most rugged pants fabric, thus least likely to rip or tear.

Torn and holey jeans are usually on purpose, as a fashion. I'm 46 and even when I was a teen that was a common look. People typically don't see that as "looking like rags", but rather a fashion choice.

Have to find a matching top? According to you everyone only wears blue. How hard is it to find matching tops for one color? It seems having pants with a variety of colors would be more difficult. Not to mention more expensive as what you pick goes with less of what you own. So you have to buy more to find things that match. And if buying a belt is too much for you then how would a variety of clothes be ok?
And if black, how easy is that to match with?

Many women wearing g-strings Want it to show. It's not an accident. It's a choice.

If your clothing gets so wet so often you may need to reconsider your clothing choices as a whole. Many things would be a bad option.

All kinds of clothes fade.

Held on with rivets? So? What's the big deal?

I wish I could wear leggings. I used to wear carhartts and they're great when you're standing up, but when you're home and take your boots off cool air seems to blow right up your leg. Maybe if I just called leggings socks.

Leggings. Picture tights only thicker and cut off at the ankles.

I love jeans because they are so very comfortable..

I especially love the new technology in jeans... Mine are as comfortable as lounge wear, for real, but they're jeans.

I wear black a lot and I'm no gang member...

You should try a mid-rise jean with a bootcut, with the new technology in waist bands. Not always inexpensive but sales are awesome. My very favorite jeans I got on sale but full price was nearly 200... They'd be worth the 200 but I'm so grateful to have hit the sale.

Black goes with almost everything and can be either dressed up or down, and blue goes with everything else.

However, slacks are an essential item too.
