I'll never be too old to enjoy
that quick-sand sinking feeling that is found at the beach,
when the water rolls in and takes the sand from underneath the feet.

to jump in puddles after a rain...better yet, DURING a rain

to break out in song while doing a mundane task

to grab a lady friend and spontaneous tango

to make snow angels

to play Parcheesi until 2:00 a.m.

to create a secret language

to doodle

to start weird, new and fun family traditions

to have breakfast for dinner

to sneak an extra cookie

You're never too old to.................... eat chocolate for dinner (am I the only person in their 30's that does this???).

Sometimes I'm too tired when I get home from work to cook, so grabbing my kilogram bag of chocolate-covered almonds with a tall glass of chilled milk is sometimes my "dinner of choice"

to create a secret language
That reminds me, I really want to make up a secret handshake with my future boyfriend/fiance/husband, preferably without him thinking me a total dork because of it.

You're never to old to...

* Paint your nails
* Read picture books
* Finger paint
* Play in the rain
* Take bubble baths
* Give hugs

Some of my favorites that have been mentioned: color in coloring books, blowing bubbles, swinging on the swings and walking barefoot in the grass :)

You're never too old to...

skip the morning's oatmeal in favor of toast with lowfat margarine and two strips of turkey bacon.

dare to park the Buick in a handicapped parking spot at the Old Country Buffet and not hang your handicapped parking pass on your rearview mirror.

critique your granddaughter's choice of clothing from head to toe because you know your walker is blocking the hallway, and no amount of eye-rolling will get you to move until she puts more clothes on.

send that Korean hottie from ChristianChat who's half your age an invite to meet you for the early-bird special at Denny's before you amble to the assisted living activities room for the bi-weekly euchre tournament.

Yeah right. As if you would ever have just TWO strips of bacon. Everyone knows that bacon is eaten one pig at a time. And, I see that plate of nachos hiding behind that supposed stack of toast. Nothing like early-morning liquid cheese. BLEH!!!

Apparently, you're never too old to make fun of someone else's Dating Disaster Horror Show... Especially when it involves geriatrics and a game of cards.

If the guy asks me to puree his breakfast for him... Yes. He IS too old to be asking me out. (Nuke, have you been stalking me again? My dating profile just got a view from an 89-year-old...)
You're never too old to get into a squabble of mindless, sarcastic banter with a good friend... especially on a public forum.

You're never too old to stalk an unnamed friend who actually tries to *gasp* LEAVE CC and harass them repeatedly into coming back. Have I mentioned it apparently works? :)

And, you're never too old to forget the time when that particular unnamed friend posted a picture of "you" and some 90-year-old anonymous boyfriend in a thread. Of course, I won't mention who it was that did that... (AHEM.)

Hey Everyone,

Is there a part of you that's still a kid inside and always will be? Sometimes it's just nice to let go of all the responsibilities and worries and sorrows... to find a moment of joy in what may seem like the smallest things.

At Christmas dinner, both my brother and I showed up in Spider-man t-shirts (mine, of course, was much cooler. :))

My toddler nephews also their parents, "Auntie Kim really likes to play... Is she a kid like us, or a grown-up like you?" (That REALLY made me laugh! :)) On the other side of the family, my sister-in-law and niece were horrified by my confession that I've ALWAYS wanted a pair of "light-up" sneakers (hey, I do a lot of walking when it's still dark, so they'd actually be very practical! :)) I keep thinking someday I'll find a pair in a bigger kids' size and be able to fit into those...

At the playground, I still swing on the swings.

And when my parents and I were in a car accident a few weeks ago (no one was harmed, thank the Lord), my Dad talked about how everything you know can change in the blink of an eye. I know it sounds incredibly childish, but when I went to sleep a few night later, I asked my Mom to tuck me i before they left.

She pulled a blanket over me and gave me a big hug and kiss good-night, just like she did when they first got me (after my adoption, even though I was too young to remember then.)

You're Never Too Old... to play with kids, to wear a favorite t-shirt, or buy a pair of light-up shoes.

And, You're Never Too Old to know you are loved, and that you love that person right back so very much.

What are you never too old for?
Never too old for eating baby food. It's actually so good. And nutritious.

Never too old to wear multicoloured socks.

Never too old to climb trees (or try).

Never too old for a lollipop.

Never too old for a happy meal.

Never too old to play hide and seek with the little ones.

Never too old for xbox/playstation.

Never too old for a wedgie when you aren't looking, or a wet finger in the ear.

Never too old to fall off your bike.

Never too old to ask a child what they think is the right decision for you to make.

You can learn a lot from kids if you just listen.
