Think about it this way, youre sharing a message from someone who, though not often, does advocate homosexuality. By living openly as a homosexual he is promoting it.

We both know that God hates homosexuality. Im not here to condemn you, but I do hope that you consider this man and his message. It sounds nice and friendly, yeah. But he is in fact leading people away from the One who came to save us. He is preaching the doctrine of the enemy, and he is a danger.

This is not an attack on you, as weve all followed such people before. I just hope that you understand why those who follow Christ want you to turn from such things as well, and find different people to be inspired by, people whos message is based on the Gospel :3

"For no wonder Satan masquerades as an angel of light, therefore it is no great thing that his ministers masquerade as men of righteousness".

But the fact that somebody has sinned or is sinning doesnt mean that their less worthy of being heard. Like I get your point and its valid but surely its okay to have role models in which some guide you religiously and some who guide you in other areas that youre dealing with? As long as their having a positive impact on your life it doesnt matter who they are because you deserve to become the best person you can be. It doesnt have to weaken your relationship with God.

Why not find that with people who base their word on the Gospel to draw inspiration from?

And you came here to share this man and his message. Think about if you shared his message with someone who is not yet strong with His word, and this person decided they really liked the message this man has, and looked into him, and found out he promoted homosexuality. This can very easily lead that person to believe that homosexuality is okay, and that God is wrong. Christ told us Himself, be careful who you decide to listen to.

Then that individual should try forming his opinions by looking at multiple role models rather than basing them all on one guy

You can be inspired to do good from someone without taking on certain aspects of their beliefs

All good comes from the Father above. If this young man is homosexual he is against Gods Word. Period. It is not someone to model your life by or be inspired by. There are plenty of people in the Bible, plenty of Christians to be inspired by. Seek their wisdom instead.

Mark 10---As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" 18And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.

Its like you can watch a video of a muslim guy helping a homeless person and then being inspired from that to help a homeless guy. That doesnt mean that you then have to take on muslim beliefs. Not everything that somebody with a different religion/sexuality/values does is a bad thing

I'll say again, any "good" that exists is from God. The Bible is where you get your inspiration from and other Christians. Without God good does not exist. Hope you understand what Im trying to say.

Why are we restricting what we can learn from...

Just because I'm saying that this guy inspires me cos of his message doesn't mean that I disregard God. But sometimes it's easier to connect to someone who's similar to you where you can just watch a video and understand it because as humans we cannot even begin to imagine God like he is beyond our comprehension and everything for him is very different to the life we live
There are plenty that can inspire you and they arent living a gay lifestyle. If you truly surrendered to Christ;why arent you thirsty for his wisdom written in the Holy Bible? Christ said 15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?…

Ephesians 5:11
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

The comprehension of God you speak of is in his words ie the Bible. When was the last time you applied yourself to reading his words and studying them? Be honest. When?
How can you be certain the one you are praying to is God if you do not know his character exuded in the Bible to compare to ( test the spirits)?

Matthew 15:18 But the things that come from a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.

Proverbs 4:23
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

You can listen to the audio bible on youtube and also watch christian movies about the stories of Jesus and those within the pages of the Bible.
Its your choice. Whom will you serve this day?

The Bible says in the book of Judges that every man did that which was right in his own eyes. We're not talking about people who chose to do wrong here. They chose to do right the Bible says;
but they chose for themselves what was right. These are sincere people who said, “I want to do right, but I will decide what's right.” Proverbs 21:2, “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.” Nothing is hid from the eyes of the Lord (Hebrews 4:13). God sees our very thoughts and pondereth our heart (Psalms 139:1-7).

You will learn some hard lessons in life until you learn to listen to the wisdom of your elders. Its not negativity, its good advice. You'd do well to listen and learn. You asked an opinion, you received an answer you didnt like. Surely you didnt think people here were going to like a video by a young gay man that swears. I watched it,he rambled and really said nothing at all. There are other people you'd do better to emulate. But dont ask for opinions if you dont really want them.

Well you're not really his target audience so it's not gonna have the same effect on you.

and I'm not saying that scriptures negative it's more me because I was already angry and this is just frustrating me more and I don't trust myself to not take it too far

People can be inspirational, regardless their sexuality, but for me personally it's more difficult to accept them as role models when they're openly gay. In the case of Connor Fanta I may not be the 'target audience,' but frankly I found the few videos I've seen (1 Thess. 5: 21 !) quite boring. I mean, what does he really have to offer besides advise on art, clothing and scented candles? His socalled 'wisdom' is just a bunch of platitudes. In short he's quite shallow, in your case I'd look for other role models that have more to offer.

Yes I guess Connor may not be the best example but there are others who are
