They probably won't like it, but as parents they need to know. Your reluctance in wanting to tell them, speaks volumes. You're 14, he's 19, you've never even actually met him in real life, he's in Italy, and you're "truly in love"? Your wrong that no one knows about it-- GOD knows, WE know, YOU know, and soon, your PARENTS will know.. If you truly respect your parents, tell them. If you DON'T respect your parents, keep up this secretive and sneaky behavior..

You're right Blue Ladybug. I know its disrspectful not telling them. i'm pondering in telling them soon. i just need ti find the right time. its hard to sit down and talk to one of them because normally ther're quite busy. it's my responsibilty to find a way. its going to be real hard.

Tell them that there is something important you need to tell them, and that since you respect them, you need to tell them.. If it's hard to get them both together at the same time, talk to whichever parent is easier to talk to, and won't freak out..

Truth is what exactly are you trying to hide from your parents if you know there's nothing to hide then your parents should be fine with it. My mom is okay with me talking to strangers online as long as she knows what we're talking about and sometimes she even checks just to make sure. Not saying you're parents are the same as mine of course, but I think they should be okay with it if it's a good and God fearing relationship.
Personally, I'm not about the relationship thing right now. Simply because I know I'm not ready for that type of commitment and I've seen what relationship troubles have done to people the same age as us, it distracts them from their academics and makes them sad. Personally, my grades definitely need more attention from me than any boy!;)
And finally just pray about it, that's my answer to everything, see what God tells you and what the Holy Spirit ministers to you and look to people older than you for advice
