LaGress looks sharply at Lithion and the conversation dies imediately, but Lithion continues to glare at her brother. Quietly, they follow Joseph into town. LaGress hides his battle axe in his robes, but keeps it handy. Lithion pulls out a poison tipped arrow and clutches it in her fist under her robes, still not trusting Joseph.

Joseph walks towards the market and tells the twins to stay there on the outskirts of town.
Lithion asks why should we trust him.
Lagress says he's the only one to ever protect us.
Lithion replies that's what makes him suspicious
as they say this some one yells to watch out
while this happens a dog knocks Lithion over knocking her hood off revealing her Red hair
as the bystander sees her he yells Demon!
Joseph turns around to see the twins in trouble and rushes towards them
meanwhile the bystander screams for the guards
and the kings soldiers rush to the scene with General James at the head
I honestly didn't think you'd make it this easy to capture you he says
Lithion asks why should we trust him.

LaGress throws his hood off, swinging his axe above his head, while Lithion stands up and throws her own hood aside and roars as she whips out her own weapons.
Joseph reaches them and stands next to LaGress with his weapon at the ready.
"So much for suplies." Joseph says half-heartedly.
LaGress only glances at him, before swinging his axe and hitting four men in one blow. Lithion swings herself expertly onto the roof of a nearby building and fires arrows, using the breeze to kill more men with each arrow than a human could kill with ten.
She hears a scrape on the roof behind her and spins, just in time to catch a blow in her right shoulder from an arrow fired by General James himself. Lithion screams in pain, so peircing and loud that it leaves every human ear ringing and nearly deaf for minutes on end. And she falls backward, off the roof, but lands on her feet, and slinks into a nearby house, after making sure it's empty.
Joseph reaches them and stands next to LaGress with his weapon at the ready.
"So much for suplies." Joseph says half-heartedly.

after Lagress takes out the soldiers he runs to find lithion
and before general james runs after him Joseph blocks his path and and says
I won't let you hurt them
James laughs and says you have been banished for treason do you really think I would listen to you now?
You threw everything away because you got soft
James pulls out his katanas and charges at Joseph die you filth!

after Lagress takes out the soldiers he runs to find lithion
and before general james runs after him Joseph blocks his path and and says

General James charges Joseph, he stops in his tracks with his eyes wide open, staring at the black, demon sword blade protruding from his middle, then, falls slowly to the ground, revealing Lithion, dirty with sweat and blood, the arrow still stuck in her shoulder.
"Where's LaGress?" She asks.
"He went to find you." Joseph answers, still stunned that Lithion of all people, or demons, would save him.

as James says this he puts his hand on the desert sand and as a mark seal appears on the ground he disappears
Joseph says he'll be back
anyway we need to get you patched up and as they say this Lagress comes running back with water and supplies they make their getaway into the desert and Joseph asks where did you get those from?
Lagress replies with a smirk the dead soldiers
we may get into trouble but we always get by somehow he smiles

As they sit around the fire, Lithion takes care of her shoulder, and LaGress fills Joseph in about the demon prince.
"The prince will be with a caravan near the ocean on the other side of the dessert. We'll have to get him out of there quietly, because we don't need demon guards to get involved... That's one fight you won't live through. We're going to capture him, bring him back to our king, and then we'll ransom him for either the king to be our kings prince, or for them to give over the whole kingdom. I don't personally understand this idea, and it's not our job to, it's just our job to carry out orders."

as he appears his attendant asks him what happen
Just business i had a run in with that traitor and was caught off guard

It won't be easy getting rid of those kids but maybe i need to find a way to fight them evenly but

LaGress looks disturbed by the thoughts he had just heard from Joseph, but doesn't say anything.
"The demon prince is getting on a ship in two days, and we have a long ways to go to catch him before he gets on that ship." Lithion says.
"We'd better get going." LaGress says, after already packing everything while Lithion was speaking.
As they walk, Lithion asks Joseph, "Why does it bother other humans to be with demons, but not you?"

well I have been branded a traitor to the kingdom so I guess i can tell you guys
the King is half demon
but after he somehow lost his powers he's been hell bent on getting them back
he killed your parents
and I thought it was wrong and things let to another and I'm branded
He was the one that had your kind killed
your family and everyone
and I well when we were on a raid to capture some of your people I saw a helpless demon who implored me to protect her children and it was you guys
she wanted protected
at that point I had enough of the king and his selfish deeds
the King is half demon

"You needed to find out by yourself." He answers.
"You let me go all this time without trusting him, and now that I finally save his life, I find out what really happened." Lithian huffs.
"That's one way to pay me back for saving your lives." Joseph laughs.

Lithion, LaGress, and Joseph are on a out cropping over the demon princes caravan, waiting for the last of the light of day to disappear. They survey the layout and decide to keep Joseph on the outcropping to watch, just in case the guards were alerted, they didn't want him to get hurt. Joseph tries to argue that he was asked to protect them, but they remind him that this is their job, they know what their doing, and they'll be fine.
LaGress and Lithion slip out of sight as the light finally fades from the moonless sky.
Slipping around the tents and hiding in the shadows, Lithion makes her way to the princes tent, while LaGress is working on a distraction at the other side of the camp. Finally, she reaches the princes tent, where there is a candle burning, she puts her ear up to the tent canvas and hears nothing but the princes pacing. She lifts the corner of the fabric and slips under the cot that is sitting next to the edge.
The prince sits down at his desk and scribbles lines on a piece of paper, nervously; as Lithion climbs out from under the bed quietly. She slides her sword out, and the prince turns to her, gasps, and looks at her in wide eyed astonishment, before she knocks him over the head and drags him out of camp, unseen.
