The king is a short dwarf of a demon, who looks to have no more agility than a toad. But when he moves, he does so with such agility, speed, and grace as Lithion would.
The king approaches Lithion and takes both of her hands, she bends over so he can kiss both of her cheeks. Then he takes LaGress into a firm hug, when LaGress kneels before him.
The kings smile rests upon his face as he greets Joseph as well, but diminishes at the sight of Callen and James, held in the air by the tree branches. Then, the smile returns as he realizes who's powers were responsible for the tree in his throne room.
"Lithion my dear, you have mastered a truely unique and... very unusual gift."
Lithion smiles at the praise she is given.
"Only very few possess this gift." The king says.
While he waves his hand for the guards to take Callen and James to the dungeon, he leads Lithion into another room.
"Lithion," he says, " your power is amazing."
"Thank you." she says humbly.
"But I must remind you dear, with great power, comes great responsibility."
"Yes, uncle, I know." Lithion kneels before the king and places her hands in his, "But I have received this great power, to be used in your service, as you very well know."
"That is why I have brought you here, child."
"Why?" she asks, confused now.
"Because I do not possess this power, I'd like you to be among my personal guard."
"I thought you possesed every power... and you don't have a personal guard, uncle." Lithion gasps.
"I do if you accept."
"May I have some time to think?" She asks.
"Yes, but I do not want others knowing that I do not possess your power, neither that you don't know your full power's capacity."
"There's more, uncle?"
"Yes, much more." he answers tenderly.
