"Back to our king." LaGress says, while looking at the limp prince being dragged by his shoulders by Lithion. "You want me to carry him?" Joseph asks.
Lithion looks at the unconscious prince and hands him over to Joseph. "We need horses," she says "I'm getting tired of flying, it makes me dizzy."
LaGress laughs at her and starts the walk back to their camp, where they tie the prince to a steak and Lithion takes first watch.

as they set up camp they are attacked by the demon guards who realized the prince was gone
You will not take his higness he says
We'll do whatever we want Lithion says and she pulls out her knife from her waitbelt
I thought demons would be a bit more friendly to fellow demons
Joesph says
Lagress replies the prince is a spoiled brat who wants to overrule his Father so that's why we have to bring him back to the King
for a lesson I guess you could say
Lithion starts to feel a dark bestly insect inside of her and moves as quick as the shadows and b4 they could blink the 2 demons guards were dead
lagress comments sis your powers are starting to come in
O wait this might be a problem
Why? Joseph says
Demons have to fight instinct all the time and when our powers come in it becomes hard to control
so sis we're going to need to practice the next chance we get
Lithion smiles i always love my chances to beat on my big bro

In the morning, the prince wakes up and doesn't make a sound, as he watches his captors (mostly Lithion) intently. LaGress keeps his mind linked to the princes, so he can twist his mind away from escaping.
Lithion is aware of the princes stare, but continues her work.
Joseph helps Lithion pack up.
"We need horses still. We need to get out of here before the rest of the caravan knows he's gone."
In a surprisingly deep, but still smooth voice, the price laughs, and says "They'll know soon enough, if not already."
LaGress looks at the prince angrily. And tells Lithion through telepathy, "He's got a connection with small animals, and somehow, he was able to hide that from me until now."

says the prince
wow I've just met him and even i think he's obnoxious says Joseph
sadly he never really shuts up says Lagress
well it'll be nice to relax here til my boys come and get me

which'll happen after I overthrow my jerk of a father of course the prince sneers.

says lithion
only demons can transport to the kingdom

"We won't be able to transport anyway." LaGress mumbles. Lithion looks at LaGress in astonishment. Before she could ask the question, LaGress answers her "The portal was closed, because of traitors and double siders, they were getting in."
"Then we have to go through..." Lithion's smooth voice dies out, and LaGress finishes for her, "The Grave Lands..."
The prince stiffens and tightens his jaw, LaGress looks at him, bewildered. "He's doing it again, I can't read him." He says out loud.

Lithion helps Joseph mount the prince on one of the horses, then goes to mount her own.
As they start to ride, Joseph asks Lithion, "What did the prince mean when he said 'it's been a while'?"
Lithion snorts and says, "We knew each other when we were younger."
Joseph grunts.
LaGress says, "He's always had an eye for her. She obviously has a huge distaste for the man."
"He's a spoiled brat." Lithion states.

LaGress jumps off his horse and goes to her side, looking her over to make sure nothing's wrong, he reaches his mind out to her, but her mind is barred from his. He looks up at the prince, who is still unconscious. He reaches out to the princes mind, which is also barred.
LaGress stands slowly and paces over to the prince, lifting his face, so he can look at him, still trying to get into his head.
"He can use his power in his sleep, and he's using them on my sister!" LaGress yells to Joseph,"She can't mentally defend herself yet!"
Joseph jumps off his horse and asks how he can help. "You take her farther away from him, she can't be reached by his powers when they're farther apart."
Joseph takes Lithion and carries her away from the prince.
As she's taken farther away, she regains her consciousness. When she can stand on her own, Joseph asks "What happened?"
"He... he showed me things." She says.
"Showed you what?" Joseph asks.
"I can't say."
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"I know what to say, in my head, but the words won't come out of my mouth. It's like the words and images are in my mind, but they can't go anywhere else." She cries helplessly.
"Is he still in your mind?"
"No, but the images and the words are."
"Did he hurt you?"
"No, he just showed me things." She shakes her head as she says this.
"Did he try to convince you of anything?" LaGress asks, as he walks up to them.
"No. Just showed me things." She says.
"What things though?" LaGress asks Joseph. "I don't know, she won't say."
"I can't say." She cries again.
"I have just one more question," LaGress says, "Did he make you trust anything he told you?"
"He didn't say anything that could go either way. But it was completely my choice... I do trust that everything he said was true."

while your waiting Lithion you should train with Joseph
I don't like it Lithion says but it's the only way

"But I need to come." Lithion says quietly. "I can always train farther away from him."
"Why do you t ink you need to come?" LaGress says sharply.
"Because of what I know." she retorts.
"You two need to quit arguing all the time." says Joseph, but the comment goes unheard.
"You know something, but can't tell us, and now you want to come with us, but it's based on that stuff that you can't tell us." LaGress says.
"All I can say is that he never wanted it to be this way, and it's all a misunderstanding." Lithion says.
"How can it be a misunderstanding? The man said he was going to kill his father, and has a sick notion that he's going to make you his queen. You were so against him earlier, and now you're on his side."
I'm not saying I'm on his side, I don't agree with how he's going about this, but I understand now."

Wow... You two have gotten pretty far in here all by yourselves. :) My turn.

LaGress throws his hands up in frustration and stomps his way back to the now sitting demon prince.
LaGress tries again, to enter the princes mind, but again, is repelled. He growls at the prince, who just stares blankly back at him.
Lithion follows LaGress at a distance, and glances at the prince as she passes, he gives her the same blank stare. The corners of her mouth turn down, as she remembers what he's told her, and tries, again, to say what she knows she cannot.

as lagress tries to get into the princes mind
a familiar face appears it's general James whose followed them to get revenge
he disables Lagress and Lithion before they can do anything and takes the Prince with him
...............the next morning

The next morning, General James wakes up to find himself tied up, with the prince standing over him with an amused grin on his face. "You're just like a rat." The prince says.
"Insolent pup, let me go." the General demands.
"Now that really would make me insolent, now wouldn't it?"
The prince jumps into a tree and disappears quickly.
...
Back to the twins and Joseph.
...
"Ouch!" LaGress complains as Lithion helps him with his injured back, where the General hit him.
"Thankfully, it takes a lot to down a demon, and you heal quickly." Joseph comments quietly.
Lithion shakes her head a she says, "I wonder if James was actually able to contain the prince. I mean, it'll be hard to contain me and LaGress, but the prince?"
"How did you contain him?" asks Joseph
"We are demons, we know how to contain a demon." LaGress answers through his teeth.
All is quiet for a moment, but a stick cracks in a nearby tree, and Lithion crouches in a split second and growls in the direction of the snap. LaGress and Joseph stand and prepare for a fight. But Lit ion stands and tilts her head, confusion showing on her face.
From a tree near the edge of the clearing shivers as a light footed demon prince appears with a smile on his face.

LaGress starts running toward the prince, but Lithion stops him, still staring at the prince. LaGress growls at Lithion and she breaks her stare, just long enough to growl back.
"What's going on?" Joseph asks.
"Lithion's being impossible." LaGress seeths.
The prince walks directly to Joseph, reaching out his wrists, ready to be tied, and gives Lithion a look that convinces her that everything's fine.

LaGress pushes Lithion out of his way and starts tying the prince up. Lithion looks down at the ground as LaGress stakes the princes ropes to the ground, grumbling to himself.
The prince watches Lithion walk away, trembling in anger. In a few moments, she has completely disappeared into the trees.
LaGress stalks off to his tent.
Joseph looks down at the prince and asks "What did you show Lithion?"
The prince looks up at Joseph, momentarily confused, but then answers, "I can't show you, I can't connect with human minds, and even if I could, you couldn't comprehend it, you'd be lost permanently in the abyss of a demon mind, and forever. Demon minds are not the same as human minds."
"Then why don't you tell me instead of showing me?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I used words, I can only make you believe me through emotions and thoughts."
"Then show LaGress."
"His mind is blocked."
"He says it's your mind that's blocked." Joseph says, surprised.
"Maybe we're both blocked from each other, but my mind is free to any who try. His is blocked from any who try.
Joseph sits next to the prince, and says "Lithion and the king connect with him all the time."
"Kings can connect with anyone. Lithion is LaGress's twin, both are understandable."
"So LaGress is special in that way." Joseph comments.
"Lithion has some exceptionally great gifts, as a matter of fact, she's out practicing them now."
Joseph jumps up, and asks, "What are they?"
"I prefer to keep Lithions secrets." the prince says smuggly.

the prince says as they disappear in the woods

Lithion comes back from her trip into the woods, and sees the prince missing, and Joseph unconscious on the ground. She contacts LaGress to come take care of Joseph, and she follows the prince into the woods, all the trust she had in him, now gone, and she goes to get her revenge on the brat prince.
...
The prince and James are walking through the forest when they feel a rumbling in the ground, the prince tuns to the source of the vibrations and a look of pure terror crosses his face. Lithion drops from the trees, her glorious, red hair flies around her vicious, growling face.
"You are so dead!" she roars, as she lifts her hands and the ground around her explodes and hurls rocks at the price and James; and tree branches reach and curl around them, trapping then completely, with absolutely now way out, not even with demon power.
"Those are not the gifts you lead me to believe you had!" The prince yells.
"Your thoughts are always wrong." she says to the two figures suspended in midair by the tree branches and debris.
"You shielded your mind from me!" The furious prince shreaks.
"You taught me." She smiles and waits for LaHress and Joseph to join her.

Lagress walks to the scene carrying an unconscious Joseph
So what now we still have to transport Callen to the King
