What country do you live in?
I understand how you feel. However if you live in America, you can buy whatever you can find for sale, directly from a local individual. If someone in your community has a firearm you want, you can pay him cash and it's yours, just like anything else.

It should be ok if it's not from a retail shop. However, shipments require an FFL to ship to even if used private purchase.
yeah finding guns from private owners is easier said than done. Muzzleloaders aren't legally considered firearms and can be shipped via mail.

Sure, it's that I didn't want you to think that you were limited to a single shot muzzleloader if you want something else. Some guys get into cap and ball revolvers too if that's of interest. You might know about that as I've never owned one, but cowboy shoots are in some parts of the country.

The answer is quite simple. Self defense, or defending one's family is neither illegal, nor immoral, nor against Christian principles.

When tyrannical governments want to confiscate and outlaw guns, it is because they are protecting themselves. They do not care about violent crimes, and in fact encourage criminals to go on committing crimes. And the same people hire guns for their personal security and pay a lot of money for that.

I agree with your response, but don't follow what you mean with the highlighted statement. Can you please explain it ?
Thank you.

Every time there has been a mass shooting the governments have pushed vigorously for gun control and gun confiscation. This has happened again and again.

Also if a white shooter is involved it is the same thing. But if it a black shooter it is ignored. When the mass shooting in Dadeville, Alabama (2023) was reported by the MSM, they all deliberately failed to name the race of the shooters -- all black according to images on Google. Daily shootings by blacks happen in Chicago.
But the Left made a big deal out of white Kyle Rittenhouse. And he was acquitted.

Illinois and Chicago are the most highly regulated when it comes to gun control. But has that stopped any criminals from shooting up others?

How did these gangsters acquire guns? And Chicago is not the only city. The person giving this warning mentioned Utah and Colorado. But NY City also has this problem. Perhaps other locations as well.

I think I see what you mean now.

The Venezuelan gangs in the news this week reportedly robbed a couple of gun shops before using the weapons to take over a building. There are mixed reports for several Colorado cities. The highest number was 15 apartment buildings and hundreds of houses. I'm going to hold judgement until I get that from more sources. If the problem were that widespread, I would think that there would be more videos.

Members of Hell's Angels were interviewed about the possibility of their intervention. That would be interesting.

As to the racial profiling of white young men singled out for media attention, that seems apparent.
That's a very small demographic that gets the most attention. I believe it's theater for the purposes of disarming the law abiding. We know as they know that no laws are obeyed by the lawless murderers.
Their actions only make the lawful victims to the criminals of the state.

Shootings in inner cities among racial gangs like the Bloods and Crypts go unreported yet are common occurrences. Crime stats classify those under 22 as children, so many gang shootings are deceptively portrayed as young children getting hold of daddys gun. Then they spin it for the politicians to twist to sell their deception to those who believe that.

Political lies in order to remove weapons from the use by the law abiding is not out of "protecting themselves."
Like you showed, they don't keep the guns out of the hands of those criminals who threaten others. The lawful do not threaten anyone. Those are defensive tools to them.
Politicians have the best security of anyone on earth. Nancy Polousy summoned the State armies on a whim when there was no threat of attack. Their work place was fortified with fences and they have high paid body guards from tax money earned by their subjects' hard labor.
I believe that the feigning of fearing the law abiding armed Americans is all theater.

Could they have perhaps a different motivation?

Yes. Tyrannical control of the entire population by calling them terrorists and semi-Nazis. Then the next step is concentration camps and gulags. If none can defend themselves and the law enforcement agencies become like the Gestapo, Stasi, and KGB, what do you have?

The ComiKamala debate is coming up.
Alex made another prediction that already, unfortunately is correct. He said that there would be school shootings to distract and make guns the talking point. Just today there were 4 killed and a whole lot injured from one of the left's trans killers. When you go to his site also notice the other trans manifesto was finally released. This was the grown woman who shot a bunch of children in the Christian school a while back. You'll remember that the left considered the murderer one of the victims, while at the same time demanding that there aught to be a law against this. Their solution is in the video that I posted above.

You watch. She is going to dodge the debate. It will either be bogus COVID, or bird flu, or monkey pox, or ordinary flu, or some other rubbish, which will prevent her from facing Trump. So she will become a victim and everyone on the Left will say "Poor Kamala". She knows all the tricks. She even wore head phones recently to dodge the media. The she had a baby sitter to face Dana Bash (who betrayed everyone).

Announcement:

This short video corrects a viral video posted recently about the Hell's Angels going to a city in Colorado that has reports of Venezuelan gangs of illegals taking over homes. I wish to post accurate information as much as is humanly possible. Some here follow the news and as a service to them, I am posting this new perspective. I suspect that Richie from Boston is correct on this subject. Without further information, there's no way to know for certain. Time will tell.
I encourage everyone to weigh the evidence and judge for themselves.

Latest news report on Colorado cities...
" 15 apartment buildings and hundreds of houses are occupied by Venezuelan gangs."

My question is very simple. Is it okay for Christians to own a gun legally for protection purposes? I would love to hear what other people has to say in regards to that.

I personally believe that we dont need a gun, but at the same time, arent everyone entitled to protect themselves? Now, you see where the confusion is with me lol :)
I could beat someone to death with a hammer, or even my fists. Killing a human being is much easier than most would imagine. And statistically speaking, more people are actually beaten to death than shot. But that doesn't fit the narrative.

A firearm is a tool, nothing more or less. The danger comes from the person holding the gun, not the gun.

A man who behaves as a beast, will be treated like a beast. When God says that he who does not provide for his family is worse than an infidel, I take this to mean protection as well as provision.

But I did not come by this decision lightly. If someone threatens my family, they're going to have a very large problem. If they come for me because of my faith, then I will lay down my arms and embrace my fate as the thousands of martyrs before me who were blessed to suffer with Christ. That was the decision I eventually came to.

What anyone else choose to do is between them and the Creator.

I agree with all this. Also, police can only do so much. I've watched enough police documentaries to realize that they can't always get to the victim in time. So owning a gun and knowing how to operate it and maintain it are a must if you know you're in an area where the police can't get to you quickly enough.
