Oh, I definitely listened to all of it! I think getting on a liver diet is way worth it. Just don‘t know how appetizing it would be at first but Im pretty sure like with any diet, you get used to it. It’s definitely a discipline for sure but if someone like me continues to educate myself on the subject and just take baby steps every day, then without a doubt, I can definitely get there.

i also think that it is possible to go on a carnivore diet, without it being so expensive. Especially if you are eating like 70/30 ground beef every day. Not sure if they have 70/30 but I know they have 80/20

I've probably listened to that class 4 times and am reminded of the important points or something I pick up new. Glad you got through it.

I wouldn't try to avoid animal fat, just seed oils and hydrogenated (ie Crisco and margarine, baked goods.)
Liver is presliced by one brand I get.
Calf liver is milder taste and $3.68/# at Wally world. Start off by boiling or frying onions. Throw in a lot of crushed garlic at the end and it will taste much better. Dr Joel Wallach recommends eating a lot of eggs (sunny side up/ liquid yolks) and real butter for the same reason Dr D talked about. Carnivore diet is not necessary. You just want to avoid gluten/ grains and processed foods or oils. If you eat a salad, for instance, eat a real avocado in place of salad dressing. I haven't bought dressing for years because the oils are so harmful. Just add.a savory main ingredient like eggs or meat to the salad and it becomes a high end chef salad. When I was a young boy, that was a treat. Mom used to buy those for me at the Murphy's restaurant. They had eggs, bacon and all kinds of good stuff in them.

Definitely screenshotting this.

if calf liver cost $3.68 at walmart or maybe even a little above that in Southern California, I’m pretty sure I can definitely manage that. What I would have to fight is sloth and also, develop discipline.

im going to have to listen to the audio again and fast forward it to the questioning because I didn’t quite absorb what they were talking about when they mentioned bad cholesterol.

I currently take Gemfibrizol for cholesterol at the moment, so I think the Holy Spirit is using you to tell me something. Ever since I’ve been taking it, I don’t go outside anymore and I also now have insomnia.
I don't take people off medications . That's their decision they do with their Dr . I do know that triglycerides usually go down when sugar and processed foods are eliminated.

The class you just listened to informed you more than any Dr who prescribed that I would guess. Did he provide a nutritional consultation? Nutrition is the main ingredient needed for our bodies to function properly.

Listen to the entire class..
Dr Daniels answers that question.
She also answers the second question from one of the callers after the class.
If it's too much to take in in one sitting, just break it into two or three parts. It will help you quite a lot.
The problem with ice cream is mainly that it is full of sugar and any daily is pasteurized, which provides no beneficial bacteria or enzymes. Fresh live milk is required to benefit from it.

i don’t get any of those side effects, except for loss of interest in sex, impotence.

Yes, they did have a nutritional consultation that I completely ignored the first time going there but started implementing the second time, after they realized I didn’t take them seriously. They did mention to eat whole grain which I most likely won’t eat.

Dr Daniels was a vegan for many years and still prefers to eat that way much of the time. She includes organ meats and various parts to build her body where deficient. My view is that everyone is different and what you need as a teenager will change in ten years. As adults our dietary requirements change somewhat. The FDA and government food pyramids are the worst pyramid scheme that was allowed to scam children and their parents out of good health.
I worked with people to help them find what was best for them. Dr D. focussed on meat in the class, not because she's carnivore, but because the nature of the topic. Some do so well on the carnivore diet because they have eliminated the bad stuff from their diets. I think it works for some people, but it is devoid of live plants that contain enzymes.

Speaking of carnivore,
If you have enough freezer space, it's a good time of year to save money. Kroger just had a sale on frozen turkey for .99¢/#.
Today the new sale is .78¢ with an additional $25 purchase. I got a whole turkey for $15. It's thawed enough to cut into single meal pieces. That's a lot of meat for the money.

Wow, who knew Kroger had good prices. Kroger goes by the name Ralph’s where I live and it’s like a luxury grocery store compared to walmart even though they sell the same stuff. I mean price wise.

They have a dozen or more corporations. I doubt if the prices are the same in every store, but this is the time of year I like to look for real good sales at whatever stores are nearby. The biggest Krogers in my area dropped the price on quality sweet potatos to 15¢ /# for a couple years in a row. I bought 80#s and spread them on newspapers out of the way on the cold garage floor. They lasted through the winter.

Farmers biggest production all year is right before Thanksgiving so any overstock is often marked down by retailers.

Sorry for getting off topic so long there Learner. I was just going to suggest we take it to a more appropriate thread.
Anyhow, I think I've seen Meijers logo on one of the reusable Shopping bags
. Are they expensive too?
