In all fairness, I do have to concede that MOST people who use marijuana, and do so "recreationally" like in this video, are certainly sinning, and such abuse is wrong.
There are problems with legalizing it, which I get, but I do know many people who have benefited from it in very small doses and for short periods of time.
The existence of pot-heads is no better of an argument against legalization than the existence of alcoholics is for prohibition.

I have no use for pot or alcohol myself, and what I grew up around makes me wish other people didn't, either. However, marijuana for medicinal use...WHEN ACTUALLY NEEDED, and not because you have an old baseball injury that acts up when it's raining...I don't think that's horrible. I would probably not use it myself, but I don't think that cancer patients who smoke pot occasionally are going to be turned away from the pearly gates, IF they are true Christians.
BTW, I didn't read all the pages in this thread due to lack of interest, so I may have repeated something someone else said, or totally missed the point.

Still. America is a democracy. That means the laws are subject to change based on the people of the land. That's what the Civil Rights Movement of the 60's was. There are a bunch of grassroots movements against things that are illegal that shouldn't be. But I have to agree with you to an extent, although calling them a name "potheads" is unnecessary and I find any name calling immature. Not that I am a pot smoker or ever will be. Plus they were talking about big business, and they did (I don't know if it was in the second vid or not) say that there was a small percentage of hemp usage as merchandise. What else in there is nonsense?
