it's clear there's two opinions on the topic,,

one sure way to truely know is too (for any of us) take a ride on a hot air ballon ride too a couple thousand feet upward in the sky in person not in video and check it out for ones self.

And see with the round human eyes the earth,, surely a ball looks like a sphere and a piece of ply wood looks flat
so a hot air ballon ride is just perfect to determine for ones self, isn't going to be proved on a flat screen chat room.

In my view the earth is 360 degree in any direction wording.

Morning,East,Right,Back
Day,North,Up,Over
Evening,West,Left,Forth
Night,South,Down,Under

And yet, any real picture, not a CGI, always shows a flat horizon. This settles it.

I don't get the significance of believing the earth is flat. I mean, is it because they believe NASA is some evil power trying to hide the aliens from us or something? I honestly don't understand their motive.

For those of you who believe the earth is a globe, if you stand on a tall mountain with a view of great distance, how long of a distance should you be able to see till the curvature of the earth dips below the horizon line?

Could you please address my previous post? Thank you.

i have big mountain Tennessee depends on visibility moisture clouds fog smog etc.. But yes I have seen a curvature of the earth like a easily bowed bow, down on each side of the bow, bow being the horizon east to west as far as I can see.

A better vantage point for seeing the curvature of the earth is in an airplane. The higher that you are the greater the distance to the horizon.

If you were in the center of a flat earth how far would you have to walk before falling off the edge?
There is the ice wall and the firmament around the flat earth we live on. There is no way it would even be possible for us to walk off the flat earth.

Time is an illusion. Solids are illusion. What we think is a physical material world isn't really physical or material at all. Everything that we perceive as real is made up of things that we don't regard as real. The universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what is visible. So what difference does it make whether we perceive the world as flat or round?

The only thing that makes absolute sense to me is to "only believe" Jesus, as he says and not put my trust in my own logical understanding.

So my question is this: Are you factoring God in this flat earth equation? And if so, how?

What you posted above is why I believe the earth is a circle and not a globe. I am putting my trust in the eternal word of God instead of my own logical understanding.

That's for sure something on my list to do one day a airplane ride.
