And you know what, with all the technology we have today, a technological construct with artificial intelligence programmed along these lines easily fits the description of the image of the beast. The fact that this technology in this time period could be used to create such a construct and programmed to carry out such a task, tells me how close we really are.
One thing I have wondered, the AI robots we are seeing today, are they prototype models ? After all in this day and age of high end consumer electronics, and other consumer products, there is always a sample version that is released prior to be released onto the market (for reviews and stuff like that).
How long will it be before many more jobs will be taken away from people in support of AI robots? How does the average person survive once they can no longer obtain employment because of being replaced by AI Robots? Universal Basic Income of some kind would be the only means. So question, if at some point in time, the only means of a income a person is able to get is a Universal Basic Income, what strings attached? What is the fine print? What are the requirements a person needs to meet before qualifying for a Universal Basic Income?
Not hard to see where we are headed, except for those who over do it on sleeping pills.

Sophia (G4678) is greek for Wisdom in case people are not aware of it. Notice how this AI robot had to pause so as the computer brain had to go through the computation process to answer.

One most important question I think people should be asking. Is mankind becoming slaves to technology? Think about it. Mankind now is so reliant on technology. To the point that this young generation of today, generation snowflakes (or the twitter generation, the facebook generation) that one has become slaves to technology without knowing.
The internet is great in many ways, being able to research and having access to so much material easily has many advantages, but at same time, there is a thing called internet addiction.

In the job market, we see technology is destroying peoples jobs only to be replaced by a machine. More and more people losing jobs because of this.
In my opinion, based on what I myself am seeing today, mankind is becoming a prisoner of technology and doesn't even know it. We are truly in some terrible times. And I think with what we are seeing at this stage, is just the tip of the iceberg compared to what is coming.

Personal experience would have me disagree... they are already now uploading personalities, mapping the human mind of those aware and unaware..making a digital fingerprint far more identifiable than any actual fingerprint...they can pin point a person in a crowd by their thoughts, their biometrics...ie. heart rate, perspiration, etc. We are already monitored, being mapped, and added into a digital identity... These things started quite some time ago... our tv's are practically spy boxes and all of our social media that we use to entertain ourselves and keep up with our families is really data collection... you have wifi, computer, cell phone, social media...your known by the system. The moment you activate your smart phone....if you take the time (which no one does because its endless) and you go into your system settings, open about phone, open legal information...you can scroll through the sea of open source licenses..in one of the linux files..it tells you that the NSA has rights to your data and they are not responsible if your phone suffers any memory loss... in other words...you gave them permission,.to listen, read, obtain...etc...but guess what...bet you still want that phone..and all your social media. We are in the age of disinformation and the horns of illusion.. a great deception.. CERN already has a quantum computer they call "father"...is that not an AI god. They already allow Quantum computers to make decisions for them based on original algorithms that were programmed into the computer..but no long know why the computer is making the decisions it makes..even within our government.. and they allow it. We are already well on our way. Don't be deceived be aware...don't trust everything you see and hear.. test the spirit... and be mindful of the devils tactics..lest you be caught off guard. God bless you I pray you find truth and understanding.. In scriptures Gideon's army was chosen in a certain way.. this is my take on the story..
