If any of you took the time to actually understand why flat earthers believe what they believe you may actually understand our position better. The easy way out is to ridicule and disregard based on what you think you know.

Based off of the questions, comments and responses most of you haven't spent the time looking into these things, but rather you instinctively seek to ridicule and write off as lunacy.


Take the blinders off, and please open your eyes to the fact that this world does not have God loving people at the wheel.

Well, no, actually some of us have experience, and have seen the evidence first hand with our own eyes, and know other people with experience whom we trust.

I do, however, agree with your last part, that there are not many Christians at the various helms.

As for understanding why y'all believe what you do, I think some of you flat-liners may have a trust issue. I think you may need to get out more, do some traveling, I don't know, make more friends that have traveled, that you can trust. So, what DID get you started in this belief? And why DO you persist?

First of all, atheists don't even know what they believe. Most atheists actually are agnostics once you truly listen to their arguments. Comparing my exhortation to research flat earth to what atheists say is subpar at best. The latest and greatest claim for atheism is the lack of believe in God/gods. Not that they don't believe in God/gods. I am not claiming to lack believe in anything, I am actually claiming the total opposite.

Second of all, the only globe earth proof you have comes from the same mainstream sources. Which means you're ignoring your God given senses and replacing it with faith on others that their only goal is to deceive you. Since the grace and mercy of God abounds much more, you have escaped the calamity of atheism, but many others have fallen victim to their snare.

Third of all, flat earth evidence, can be observed from a personal level, no need to put faith on another source. The reason why I urge people to look into it unbiasedly and deeply is because the truth is there for the taking. If you want it, you will see it. Truth is only hidden when you chose to close your eyes.


Btw.... have you looked into the story behind Pokémon and many of the Pokémon name meanings?

I figured you'd stick with your belief as expected,as for the pokemon names I really "don't care" I've heard they are "demonic" "big deal" once in awhile I play "demon style" games like Dmc,or Castlevania,pokemon is "kid friendly" in many ways but like any show it has "worldly elements" that can either make or break a show.
Lots of shows can eventually get a "bad reputation" no matter how "wholesome or imaginatively fun" such shows including Barney,Blues clues,Sesame street and Mr. roger's neighborhood,all "clean,and kid friendly" yet someone always tends to "do something foolish" and then people focus on the "negative" over the "positive".
If anyone looks for "negative things" long enough they'll "find something" even when there is "nothing to find".

Well this is in "Conspiracy forum" this flat earth stuff doesn't hold up biblically or sensibly so it's good this stays in the shadows as a conspiracy after all this is fun for some people who like to ask and answer their own questions,so it will stick around until such time as it gets boring I suppose.

Since when do shadows appear to be the same color as the sky?

the part of the moon not in direct sunlight, which we see here, is being lit by reflected light from the earth's surface.

reflected light from the earth's sky to the moon is going to tend to be the same color as the light that refracts/reflects from the earth's sky to your eye. hence the picture above, kinda sky-colored backlight. take a flashlight and shine it on something red, and you'll get a reddish reflected light.

so, not really an "aha!" for you. more like a "doh"

if the earth is flat, how in the world does the moon have phases - which are the same phase as viewed from all over the whole earth - that go in ~ 28 day cycles? where is the sun in this picture​ ? what direction, relative to the moon?

going by the diagram that's being passed around here, that polar-projection-map gif, the moon should go through all of it's phases every day, from new moon to full moon to new moon, and what phase the moon is in should depend on your location on earth.

is the moon full every 24 hours? when it's 1/4 waxing moon here, is it 1/4 waning moon in Europe, and 3 hours from now will it be a full moon?

nope.

once again, the visible moon God put in the sky totally destroys flat-earth model. only way to hold this model is to shut your brain off, being either willfully ignorant or willfully stupid.

Well this is in "Conspiracy forum" this flat earth stuff doesn't hold up biblically or sensibly so it's good this stays in the shadows as a conspiracy after all this is fun for some people who like to ask and answer their own questions,so it will stick around until such time as it gets boring I suppose.

It holds up biblically, much better than the globe that requires figurative interpretations or the deceleration those writing The Bible didn't know the truth or were writing from the perspective from the surface.

And it will hold up much better to your senses if you ever figure out moon landing, mars missions, and the ISS footage are all studio productions, and your images are art projects. Look at some amateur footage from "really high up" then the lack of curvature will hold up you your senses as well.

Or start your 40th adventure through pallet town and never question anything you are told by authority, then things will remain as they are for you.

imagine you are an observer on any part of the map and looking up at the moon. imagine the phase the moon must be in for every position of the sun/moon. see how absolutely contrary to reality it is?

try and imagine how a solar eclipse could possibly happen here. a solar eclipse like the one millions of people saw last year across America -- exactly as predicted by a certain 'other model'

oh this map isn't accurate? so draw me an accurate one, that actually agrees with observable reality, plz.
give us a diagram that shows a moon with 28-day phases - identical phase all across the entire earth - and that explains lunar and solar eclipses in a way that matches reality. show us a model that can actually make accurate and useful predictions.

Our senses are wrong and amateur videos are fake, NASA is right and their intentions are pure. Eclipses are calculated using the globe, thus it's accurate, although we never see these calculations or the actual globe model they are working with, it's impossible they are using a model more similar to the flat earth and then telling us they used the globe. Impossible.

This is what the universe and your world looks like, feast your eyes for they are starving on conspiracy:

here's another whomping big, completely model-destroying fact.

we got global communication these days. we know what part of the earth has daylight and what part has night at any particular time of day. it's completely 100% predictable and verifiable.

that ridiculous gif? completely inaccurate. just look at how much faster the daylight goes by towards the outer edges of the polar projection map compared to the center. not matching reality.

here's an example of what the sunlight coverage on the earth actually looks like for a certain time, winter solstice in this case:



hmm flat earth got a big problem.

no way a spotlight can do that. and this is typical of sunlight on earth throughout the year as the amount of coverage changes over the seasons -- it is not as represented in that silly gif. it is not a perfect little circle of lamplight on an azimuthal projection map.

see the diagram i posted above? perfectly explained by a globe-model, completely inexplicable by a frisbee model.
