I don't believe that to be true any longer.

Russia is short on qualified military pilots. They have lost a huge bunch of them in the 500+ days of fighting from MANPADS and other anti-aircraft devices. So the number of skilled and experienced pilots is down. Pilots they have....military pilots? Very few and most freshly trained.

Where the pilots might eject...it might save their live but the ejection systems these days will cause injuries....making them easy pickens for the enemy.
And usually they don't do pilots when trading captives.
There are NO reliable Russian, Ukrainian, or American figures of how many aircraft from each side has been downed.

On the Russian side, I've seen anywhere from 30 to 3000 from a variety of news sources. It just goes to show you how pervasive the deception is from the govs and media.

But the point is that Russia could absolutely overwhelm Ukraine with bombers, missiles, and tanks if went full tilt.
Also, this is a country accustomed to massive losses, without losing.

By most unbiased accounts, although admittedly it is hard to get true info, Ukraine is in desperate straits in manpower and munitions.

But I reiterate. There is NO WAY on earth Russia is going to lose this war, unless it spills into other countries.

I wouldn't say that....
Russia lost in Afghanistan....it gave up.
The USSR also lost the cold war.

Russia tends to have no fire control or restraint....meaning that they will fire mortars or howitzers just because...lots and lots of shells with no specific target.

They will try to smother an enemy with their own troops. But with the HUGE conflict line extending for hundreds of miles....they can't.

So Russia is bad at asymmetrical warfare....also their economy is in trouble. And since battles don't end conflicts.... Russia might have to end this one.

You do understand that Russia could literally end the war in days if it wanted to with it's air force don't you?

I'm certain Putin, and Zelensky for that matter, are both part of the Global cabal looking to cull and enslave humanity.
No that's now how they could end the war, they tried that one already and it didn't work for them. Since Wicked Russia is the sole belligerent in the war and they started this war based purely on lies, the only way this ends is the God of Truth totally destroying Wicked Russia to sanctify his holy name. PRAISE JESUS!

so destroying a nation, a entire nation, because of the actions of a few would sanctify God's name??

have you not read where when Israel was exiled to babylon, the people were not destroyed??

God takes no pleasure in destruction of anyone, and neither should you.

i get this is a satire post, but you are big time crossing lines that should not be crossed...

But then again the disastrous Kursk offensive was the end of the line for the Wehrmacht.

"The campaign was a strategic Soviet success. For the first time, a major German offensive had been stopped before achieving a breakthrough; the maximum depth of the German advance was 8–12 kilometres (5.0–7.5 mi) in the north and 35 kilometres (22 mi) in the south. The Germans, despite using more technologically advanced armour than in previous years, were unable to break through the deep Soviet defences and were caught off guard by the significant operational reserves of the Red Army. This result changed the pattern of operations on the Eastern Front, with the Soviet Union gaining the operational initiative."

Russia may be using some stored munitions....but they are also having to make them. Add this to the cost of increased troop strength they need for their ongoing war in Ukraine and the cost of the mercs they hired...

Those missiles they have been using from ballistic Kensahl to their cruise missiles they each cost an equivalent of $500,000 to a cool million each.
Nevermind the huge volume of artillery shells they have been using.

Then look at their economy that has shrunk by 40%. Their Ruble is in double digit inflation.

Russia is going broke quickly.

They can't afford to keep up this fight.
Putin can't afford to lose this fight politically.
Ukraine has had daily drone strikes in Moscow and in the sea.

Eventually Putin is going to be removed from office.

I don't see it because it comes from a poster who is extraordinary in posting rhetoric and misleading information instead of truth.

The government of Russia and Russian industry are in dire straits. Their recovery is in doubt too as the wealthy and talented have left in the earliest stages of the war. Over 2 million people escaped as the iron curtain went back into place.

so, what is more important= which person posts something or is what being posted true??

what he posted was a swiss bank report that russia added 400 million dollars of wealth last year, how they added 56.000 new millionaires .

and this is a swiss bank report, with business insider, reuters, and visual capitalist reporting it.

might want to check things and not just dismiss because you do not like the person posting the story..

I didn't say Russia NEVER lost a war, only that there is NO way they are losing this one. Unless it becomes a wider conflict.

And since battles don't end conflicts....

Battles are components of war. There are a myriad of Battles throughout history that directly led to the surrender and end of conflicts.
