He said that God is not a god of the dead but of the living. It was proof of resurrection and the after life, which the Saduccees did not believe in.

If there is a Heaven, and there is, then we are only dead in the flesh, but not of our soul which means all that we are survives the death of flesh.

If there is a resurrection, then we will have perfect flesh again. This means that we will again be part of the material realm, which is promised in Revelation.

In the end, Mary and all of the saints, from the OT to post-NT, are in Heaven and are living. Revelation shows that they are aware of the world and the actions that happen here on earth. It also shows that the saints in Heaven also bring our prayers before the Throne of God as incense.

Ever heard of Occam's razor? You're making things WAY too complicated, based on flimsy biblical proof, just because you WANT Mary to be alive and praying for you in heaven. Fact remains there's just ONE that makes intercession for us (Rom. 8:34 etc).

Occam's Razor teaches that one should begin with the least complicated theory when testing theories, not that the least complicated theory is probably true. You are buying into a false assumption.
