I find it funny that this entire threads purpose was to request people to stop attacking Obama and His Holiness Pope Francis. On this last page, the two people debating, one is attacking Obama and the other consistently attacks the Pope, and those two people are arguing with each other. That's odd.
Not funny (unless you have a weird sense of humour; I wouldn't be surprised) or odd. My recent discussion with Age here was solely about Obama, not at all about your precious pope.
Though I would say this, I find it strange the amount of non-US citizens who think they have a clearer view of our President.
So just because you live in the USA you have a clearer view of your president. Right... must be your excellent, unbiased newschannels, papers etc.
If we started to tell them about their government,
You already have, at least since WWII.
I wonder if they would tell us that they know more and for us to butt out.
As if you would listen lol.
(By the way, I don't think Obama is gay, Muslim, or the AntiChrist. I just think he is a horrible president).
I don't think he's gay either, that was my whole point. And like I said before: I've seen worse presidents, but since he's not my head of state frankly I don't care.

Stop attacking Obama? In the 1930's German people seldom attacked Hitler. Those that did ended up in 'special camps' where they were never heard form again. I could give a rats butt how "non-US citizens" feel about our so called president or their governments. I care about America.

Starting a thread that has the name 'Obama' in it looks for trouble. Trouble that people like you never see coming until you get that knock on the door in the middle of the night. A knock from a person's hired goons that you say, "is a horrible president."

The only reason you're not eating rice and sauerkraut is because Americans woke up and hung Tojo and caused Hitler to put a bullet in his mouth.

A "horrible president" that plots as you read this to shut down all 'those haters' of his regime starting with Christians in the Middle East Obama’s call to close Vatican embassy is 'slap in the face' to Roman Catholics - Washington Times
What part of horrible did you miss? Horrible is a word whose origins are in the words horror and terrible. Obama will go down as one of the worst (if not the worst) president our United States has ever had.

I really enjoy non-Americans critiquing a government they have never really been involved with before. It's quite entertaining.

Eighty countries currently maintain embassies to the Holy See which has diplomatic relations with 180 sovereign states. This began even before the medieval period but since the medieval period the Holy See has been widely accepted as a sovereign entity.

And this is the case despite the end of the Papal States in 1870 and the consequent loss of territorial sovereignty after which the Holy See continued to exercise the right to send and receive diplomatic representatives and maintain diplomatic relations.

In fact, after the WWI, the number of states with diplomatic relations with the Holy See increased and presently there are more than ever existed before.

But you inferred why not what. There are several reasons. The first is that the Holy See is legally capable of ratifying international treaties, and does ratify them.

It has negotiated numerous bilateral treaties with states and it has been invited to participate, on equal footing with nation states, in the negotiation of most universal International law-making treaties.

Traditionally, an agreement between the Holy See of the Catholic Church and a sovereign state on religious matters is called a concordat. This often includes both recognition and privileges for the Catholic Church in a particular country, such as exemptions from certain legal matters and processes, and issues such as taxation as well as the right of a state to influence the selection of bishops within its territory.

And if he did close it I wouldn't complain. I have long been perplexed as to why America (or any other nation for that matter) maintains an embassy to a religion. The RCC (via the Vatican) is the only international religion (that I know of) that has it's headquarters recognized as an independent nation and given the privilege of direct diplomacy.

Nor (e.g. used to introduce a further negative statement) does TWO terms in office make Obama by definition a good president.

Want to keep going?

True, TWO terms in office doesn't make George W by definition a good president.

I see what you are saying but you and every Christian person should know that they work with the illuminati. And about what you put (quotes on the bible), i get it but you need to know that they do lie and that obama isn't a real Christian and that the pope is catholic. Also the pope is being idolized and he should know better than to keep letting that happen... I'm done...

There is no higher power than God. Not your pope, not your president, not the king that commanded the Hebrews to bow before their gods. Shadrach Meshach and Abednego were not disobedient to the will of God.

Yes, all powers that be are there by God's will but NO WHERE is it written that you should bow before them.
