The second I saw violakat start this thread that song came into my head,but I didn't wanna be an idiot so soon in the thread...I figured I'd give it a few posts until I was at the point of bursting to type that. LOL
Oceangrl makes a great point too of having some "skills"..even boyscout type stuff...know how to make a fire,basic first aid,stuff like that can't hurt to know. Having a little bit of extra stuff like you have Markum,very good idea. Actually,the indoor garden...sheesh,we should all be growing our own food. Better tasting & better for ya'.
I will toss in $20 to help fund yer' Mad Max outfit...that would look super sweet. I'll get my mohawk back again soon & join yer' gang. LOL

In the event of an apocalypse here's what I'd do..

1. Steal a 4x4 truck and drive to the nearest airport (I can drive stick)
2. Steal a plane (I've flown an actual plane in real life)
3. Fly to Maui
4. Steal an RV
5. Load the RV with food, fishing gear and a barbecue grill
6. Find a secluded stretch of beach and park there
7. Live happily ever after off of fresh fish and coconuts

Oh geez. Just had this image of us all living in cob houses with our Madmax outfits rubbing two sticks together so we could cook fish that Powemm caught on a cob stove. LOL

The skills thing is key. You can survive better with more skill and less supply than the other way around. Supplies run out if you don't know how to obtain them.

Yeah... The company 'OpticsPlanet' is a good company...they came up with the Zombie Kit idea as a sorta joke... No telling if they've actually sold any.

been a prepper for about 5 yrs now, i have a lot of chili, like 12,000 cans and thats all im gonna tell you lol.

To be fair to Zero, is it really stealing if everyone has abandoned their stuff and it's just sitting there? I mean, for example, if it is a Zombie Apocalypse, basically the owners of those things could be a zombie and therefore not really alive. So, it is something to consider. Maybe Zero means he will "borrow" these things.
