No I did not give you a definition of a physical work, though it does include a physical work. Here the definition is again. The greek word ergon:

an act, deed, thing done: the idea of working is emphasized in opposed to that which is less than work

any product whatever, anything accomplished by hand, art, industry, mind

Now believing is accomplished or done by the mind.

Thats a work, I do not care how you attempt to deny it !

It does not matter, man is not saved by doing spiritual works either ! In fact, the natural man cannot do anything pleasing to God period, not even believe or have faith !

Work means physical work. Stop making it up

G2041 ἔργον - Strong's Greek Lexicon

The second thing is that however you define ‘works’ is immaterial because we are NOT saved by works we are saved by faith which is obviously not works or our faith would not save us.

Tit 3:5 'Twas not for deeds that we had done, but by his steadfast love alone, he saved us through a second birth, renewed us by the Spirit's work,

You got the first part right when you say we are not saved by works, but to say you cannot believe, for example that the sun will rise tomorrow is ridiculous.

When I was a child I had faith in my parents, I have faith in God now and it does not involve one jot of work.

What I would like to know is this, if you are not saved by works and you are not saved by faith because you think it is 'works' then how on earth do you think you are saved?

Works don't save you. Christ does. If works did save you, then why did God send His one and only son? So you could keep offering works? That's ridiculous. Offer Jesus. Just like in the Old Testament, they offered animals to God. Now you do the same. Jesus is the Lamb of God. God gave Him to us as a sacrifice. Now, offer Christ back to God.

There is Grace from God its Jesus Christ who defeated death blots out our sins and released the Holy Spirit. But the Gospel of Grace you and others teach is false and a lie. Your telling people to just believe and Gods Spirit will do it all, when jesus commanded us to enter by the narrow gate. Do you know what the narrow gate is ? a thread was started here you should read it. The Holy Spirit will not be given to anyne unless they show God they deserve it. The Holy Spirit is a precious jewel that only a few find, Jesus Himself said only a few will find life and enter the narrow gate and broad is the way to hellfire

All that Christ is becomes us. Are you trying to say that God is wrong? And show God? You want me to work for salvation? Salvation is a free gift. Why pay for something you can get for free? And yes, very few will enter the narrow gate. Why? Because many don't believe this gospel. Think about it.

Your not being fair to DATA, he doesn't function in the same manner and can't comprehend anything that we are to receive by faith. To be fair to DATA, he would have to have blood running through a fleshly body. :rolleyes:

God doesn't look at my flesh. He looks at my heart. I may be young, but God works through me. Don't judge me by my age.

Oh are you preaching God's Word? Can you preach this...
1 John 3:9...Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
And this? 1 John 5:18. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Tell me young lady, who appointed you to preach... for as far as I know God is the only one that appoints His preachers... AND THEY ARE ALL MEN! Tim 3, Eph 4, 1 Cor 14, Rom 8, James, 2 Peter 1, etc etc.

My dear if only you did preach what God put in His Word... You do not, that is why I am writing this... You preach what you learned from false teachers... And God gives me command to reproof you with SCRIPTURE... Yet you do not accept the truth. What about this verse.... Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

Even deacons can only be MEN! Let alone the preacher/teacher/bishop/apostle/pastor and prophets... No my dear you have WAY to much to learn to preach or teach at this stage... SORRY that is the Truth.

You are even warned in Timothy 1 that you might fall in the trap of Satan... Be careful young one, let your father do your teaching, if not he, allow God to teach you...

Not even holy deacons can teach... let alone teenagers that think they are apoointed by God. Make sur EVERY statement you make can be proved in the Bible, and that is a HUGE responsibility... What comes out your mouth can really foul up and make you unholy... It is just not right to think you are an appointed Godly MAN now... Read 2 Peter 1.. the whole chapter... God says much there...

I care for you and you are in a world where God send lamns amongst the wolves... Do not get involved in this young lady... God would NEVER put you in amongst the wolves... Except if you are a young wolverine yourself... Study your Bible... There is much tuth for you to find there,,,, I promise you, God will use you, but not your mouth or words...

Read Eph 4:11 to 13, and let God show you how special you are to him. Timothy and one of God's other prophets was also young... NOT 15 though... but they were VERY SPECIAL.. both of them, and God elected them for many hardship...

I say this with the freatest of love, but I cannot love you more than God and His Word, if you say something against God's will and plan for His children I will reproof you.

Look how you think I judge you, but I judge what you preach and that isNOT GOD'S Word... God said I must put the Spirits to the test... 1 John 4... The spirit you show in your teaching is NOT OF GOD... God will NEVER preach that ALL would sin and continue to sin... NEVER... then God does not have SAVING GRACE... AND HE HAS...

I did not say that. Man naturally cannot believe the Gospel or have Gospel faith. For the man by nature cannot please God which Faith does Heb 11:6

However, Paul writes Rom 8:7-8

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Nope look why God does arm the saved peopel of the world.... Here is the BEST verse to show you and teach you something about God and His salvation and beautiful WORD...
Hebrews 13:20 and 21.... Read it and think before you replay and react....Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Heb 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever.
We know God has to give us BORN OF GOD before this will transpire... but look at how PERFECTLY EQUIPED THEY ARE...

And only TRUE holiness pleases God. Actually only perfection does, that is why HE MAKES THEM PERFECT TO PLEASE HIM...

Do not be so sensitive, I only use your post and bring the extreme Truth to all...

I see you are on the right track, but the track will NARROW a lot more, and then you also will only have the PERFECT man in your sight...

LOL. It appears that this hyper-Calvinist doesn't understand the manner in which God's saves man by His grace, hence my frustration. My prayer is that God opens his eyes that he may realise the error he's propagating.
