Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

How can we talk with dead people? How can dead people pray for the living?
You believe she's dead. We believe she's in heaven with her Son. This can't be argued. Let's talk about how much we love Christ?

It is simple, there is only One Mediator between man and God...............Yeshua, Jesus Christ, amen.

The response will be that they're not really dead, that no one ever really dies, and thus a denial of the death of Jesus.
"No one ever really dies, and thus a denial of the death of Jesus?" lol How does that make sense? And of course everybody dies here on earth, mate. Again you misunderstand us. Why do you enjoy patronizing people and trying to make them feel inadequate? I don't understand what your end goal is. Is it to show us your version of the truth out of love, like Christ asked you to? If you see yourself as doing Christ's work, how can you possibly be doing that with a bitter or sarcastic tone? You are not doing what Christ asked by revealing the truth or leading what you think is the misled. Instead, you're feeding your pride and your ego, trying to lift yourself above others by saying you are right and they are wrong. What would Jesus do? Seriously! Your rep power is good here at 17. How good do you think it is on God's website? God bless.

Avoiding the core of the matter.
The core of the matter, friend, is that Christ died for our sins and salvation comes through Him. I believe that and so do you. We will not agree on most other things. But we do agree on the core of the matter. The only way that we could ever debate our beliefs is if we start on the topic of sola scriptura. This is the core of where alot of our beliefs differ. Most of them except Salvation by Christ. If you would like to discuss that topic, fine. If not, don't bother me anymore with your attacks, please. I know it excites you. But I really get no pleasure arguing against fellow believers in Christ on a topic that often ends up fueled by ego (which must kill Christ all over again). Cheers. God bless.

I understand, yes our focus is to be on truth, and truth is Christ Jesus, and even Paul who spoke acout sin being taken away had to be careful and not be accursed, because Paul understood sowing to flesh, just sowing about it only allowed flesh to creep in and so had to pull away as you had to do here as well, smart move glad you are back for a short while hopeully just good clean conversation here now and all done in God's way of love 1 cor 13
Just been healing from my major surgery? hope to go back soon to finish, and be released to work again. Other than that praying to undrstand and not be proud and boastful about anything except Christ and Father
Love you Brother
Amen brother!

Major surgery? Do you mind me asking what for? I hope all is going well for you, my brother. I will pray for you. Love you too, bro. Dearly!

Yes it does and has, so youkeep up the good fight pointin it all to Christ, not self and or others. I do think to appreciate others, and maybe tell them for encouragement, but sometimes I am told to be quiet in that.
For Iearned from Paul in 2 Cor 12 about God grace is sufficient and why he gloried in his iniquities and why a messenger of Satan come a long to buffet us.
I wonder is it because we can get and think we are holier than others and need to be humbled, sotherefore when I get buffeted their is a reason and i see it was to buffet Paul, me, you and all of us that think we know, when we do not, only
God does. So therefore I will glory in my need for God, and in my weakness God's strength is made perfect
Just food (meat to eat) for thought
WISDOM!! lol I always have plenty to eat when talking to you, brother. Thankyou.

No it is all well with my Soul not flesh. I got what is called foreigners gangreen in my personal area and lost or better put, my penis has now been severed and I have been made a new way to go, by cathiters, I still have a colostomy and am waiting to get back to reverse this. It has been hard to walk, my body restructuring itself.
When I was swollen and could not pea, I was distraught of coarse and yelling to my wife, the devil may be able to destrot the body but cannot destroy the Soul only God can.
Now I have since childhood been dead or suppose to be numerous times, and this is the far worst of all, yet I stand firm in trust to God and am ready whenever I am called to go home. I have been shot at, stabbed, tire machine blown up in my face lostall my teeth, have been choked to death, gone of a bridge while the song Stairway to heaven was playing, we hit head first and all of us lived. This is why nothing can seperate me from the Love of God, a Church, an enemy, a friend, death, nothing CHRIST is CHRIST period.
I have been in the Catholic Church, the Methodist, the Presbertarian, the Babtist, Pentecostal, Lutheran and I came to the conlusion of as what is written, and found out this is where all the Saints are at in the Spirit and worshipping here for his kingdom is not of this earth, and we all have free choice this is mine, so therefore I am to let all have theirs as I have mine, because if I take away anyone's free choice it would stand to logic I would have to lose mine, and I do not wish for that
[h=3]Hebrews 8[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[h=3]The High Priest of a New Covenant[/h]8 Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, [SUP]2 [/SUP]and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by a mere human being.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. [SUP]4 [/SUP]If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already priests who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. [SUP]5 [/SUP]They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” [SUP]6 [/SUP]But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. [SUP]8 [/SUP]But God found fault with the people and said:
“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”

[SUP]13 [/SUP]By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.

Seems to me, if you believe that Jesus is God, relegating Him to mediator status would be a demotion.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

Hebrews 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

demotion? God is the one who stated Jesus is the ONLY mediator. not us.. so your saying God is wrong?

Thank you. That adds perspective.
The "mediator" status of Christ is in the sense of returning to God and Eternal Salvation and reunion with God -- through Christ. Simple enough.

I do not know anyone who petitions a Saint or the Blessed Mother as "mediators" for salvation in the sense of circumventing Christ in order to get to God. Those who sincerely want to understand Catholics will recognize this. Those who desperately need a reason to cling to anti-Catholic bigotry will obstinately deny the obvious.

I don't care about "sola scriptura" because I don't like the changes made in the Latin manuscripts, but I believe "scripture suffices" from Greek manuscripts concordantly literally translated into English. I was raised in the Catholic Church. So don't preach to me about it. I also tried the Protestant Church, but I am no longer a follower of any church tradition.

"All scripture is inspired by God, and is beneficial for teaching, for exposure, for correction, for discipline in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16)

NOWHERE in this verse does it say that Scripture is sufficient - oinly beneficial.
NOWHERE Nin Scripture do we read the the Scriptures are the FULLNESS of Christ - we read that about the Church (Eph. 1:22-23).

Jesus is our only Mediator in the sense that only HIS sacrifice can bring peace between us and the Father.

HOWEVER - every time you ask a friend or loved one to pray for you - you have just made them mediators.
Whenever sombody intercedes for you, they are mediators.

James 5:16 tells us to pray for one another and that the prayers of a righteous person is very powerful. Do you know any truly righteous people here on earth? Doesn't Romans 3:10 say that there are NONE righteous?

Only those in heaven have been made truly righteous in Christ because Rev. 21:27 tells us that NOTHING imperfect can enter heaven.

This Protestant rejection of mediators/intercessors is unbiblical and illogical.

What grounds does Mary have to mediate for us? Plus, the dead have not even been judged yet according to Revelations 20:11

So then, if Mary has not been judged for heaven, how is she mediating anything? How are any of the Apostles for that matter either?

They're not.

Christ is the mediator; that is what the Bible says. Nowhere does the Bible say to pray to another; maybe the Cathechism does or whatever doctrines the Catholic church distorts to persuade it's people that this teaching is not false, but the Bible says that the only mediator is Christ.

Why do we need to run to Mary or the Saints, when Christ is one with the Father? If you have a complaint in a kingdom, and the king says,

" Bring all your troubles to me -"

Do you run to the courtmen and say, " Tell the king this for me..." or to the random nobles and say " Tell the king this..."

No, you go to the king lol.

Christ was God putting on the flesh, which concealed his glory; it made God approachable for us so we wouldn't feel the need to try and get others to mediate.

FYI

Just because your dead, doesn't mean your " closer " to God; actually, Jesus Christ went and preached to the dead souls when he died on the cross, meaning that in the realm that comes after we die on earth and before the Judgement into heaven, that people still have the choice to accept God or not -

Spritually the dead are in the same state of being close or not close to God as we are in the living.

I have no doubts that Mary is still in tune with God, but she is not holy, nor does she have any power to propel us to the next life. Her prayers go to God, just as God told her to do; Christ told us to pray in his name and the Father...so why is there any need to pray to Mary?

Even on earth, we are encouraged to pray for one another; but we don't pray to our dead brother's and sisters of Christ do we? No, we pray to God.

How do you even know Mary even hears those prayers? She has no power and only the Almighty can receive all those prayers. Mary would have to be divine or Christ - like in order to hear the millions of Catholics praying in her name.

Mary is probably hanging out waiting to be judged; her soul, those idols casted at the church, the pictures of her...

They cannot hear you...the dead are still seeking and awaiting their salvation; what good is a sinner's prayers to another sinner; they cannot redeem you.

It's called idolatry. It's one of the reasons I left that church when I was a young man after I read enough to know that Catholic Church tradition does not conform to the word of God. Praying to the statue of a dead person is not only misguided and unproductive, but it offends God. Catholics are supposed to believe Mary is alive in heaven, but, if you believe the word of God, nobody has been immortalized yet except Christ. When he comes back, those in the body of Christ will go to heaven.

"He is King of kings and Lord of lords, Who alone has immortality, making His home in light inaccessible, Whom not one of mankind perceived nor can be perceiving, to Whom be honor and might eonian! Amen!" (1 Timothy 6:15,16)

"Now we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are reposing, lest you may sorrow according as the rest, also, who have no expectation. For, if we are believing that Jesus died and rose, thus also, those who are put to repose, will God, through Jesus, lead forth together with Him. For this we are saying to you by the word of the Lord, that we, the living, who are surviving to the presence of the Lord, should by no means outstrip those who are put to repose, for the Lord Himself will be descending from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the Chief Messenger, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall be rising first. Thereupon we, the living who are surviving, shall at the same time be snatched away together with them in clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And thus shall we always be together with the Lord. So that, console one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
