But what about the un-cool posters? What are WE gonna do?This could just be me, but finding a good conversation one-to-one in chat is pretty rare, and I don't have the time to sit there and go through all the chatters in the room to see if we can get past all the "How are you today?" small talk.
I envy the people who have enough time to sit in the chat rooms for hours... I just don't.
However, I am guilty of being logged in for long amounts of time as I go about my daily life and then check back in on the threads when I have a few spare minutes.
Now if someone was going to arrange a time or regular meeting when a group of cool posters from singles were all going to be in the chat room at once, I would definitely try to make it a date!

My God that was dripping with sarcasm....and I loved every drop! ^5. lolYeah it's more convenient then sitting in chat all day waiting for people to come in to discuss things with.
ok
seoulsearch If you will do that i promise to be there. you could test it out maybe a weekly thing.. ikn..
Are people embarrassed or shy or do they just do there singles chat on one of those ungodly chat sites?
there are 125,000 threads on the singles forum . that ranks it number 2 on christian chat .. but know one is in the singles room.
What say you?
Ungodly chat sites....
That was my favorite part of this whole post.
The chat rooms consist of either arguments over the bible, then arguments over arguing about the bible OR the high school room (lounge) where you can expect to be ignored unless your one of the cool kids.
Ain't nobody got time for that![]()
I think the word "date" in post #5 is the key to your question. Most of the posters who come to the forums are not looking for a date or to be hit on, as often happens in chat. Friendships seem to have longer shelf lives than online dating.
Most of us are very busy people. We can post here in the forums at our convenience and still keep the dialogue going without being bombarded by PMers who just want to say "hai" while we are trying to have a conversation in main chat.
