I've been wondering which is worse. Is it someone who really doesn't see or know who they are, or someone who lies and finds a way to justify the lies they tell about themselves?


Both are scary, but for different reasons. They're both dangerous, but for different reasons as well. My vote leans towards the justification of lying. Is being honest about oneself really that bad?

Off to the beach for the 4th. Imagine. fireworks going off all around you in a panaramic 360 degree display and yeah, I admit, it is a site to see, spectacular, indeed, but, never forget, the wildest picture you can imagine of something good to see won't compare with being with God.

God bless you all, and, off I go, me and my girl, that's my dog, by the way. Maybe, one day a girl, right now a dog who is like a girl, she depends on me, and, I thank God, for 8 years, I've been dependable for her :)

I ended up apologizing to my sister. I'm glad I did, I'm glad we are on speaking terms, and I'm glad to know what's going on in her life. However..."catching up" with each other should absolutely not take 6 hours on the phone. Neither of us are THAT interesting.

If people are going to be creepy... well, I wish they wouldn't. But if they are, would they just be overtly creepy and get it over with already? It's so hard to know what to do with half-creepiness... AAARGH! ~Tears own head off~

Today, I wondered about killing myself again. It's not like I'd be missed too much... I like living. I just don't like screwing up. As if screwing up more would make a difference. Life is to complicated for me.

PopPop, I know what you mean! People should just let their creepy flag fly. That way we know who to stay away from.

So when you tell people the truth and they respond with disgust and how could you, you know we are to be nice loving our neighbor as self
Say I did love you as myself I told you the truth, that is nice, would you rather me lie?

And what freedom comes in asking others for forgiveness, and giving forgiveness to.
I remember when I got my brother alone and confessed to him the wrong I did to him without his knowledge of, feeling guilty for ever doing it.
And he forgave me, and I think he saw the freedom it gave me, relieving the guilt trip that I was on, which the enemy does its best to put us all on a guilt trip, which can be released, by telling truth and facing whatever consequences there are to face, being in a ready mind to pay, and being accountable.
Freedom from guilt is what I think Christ came to give us and then we respond accordingly and do as personally led

Yes I think I would rather know that the person I am conversely with is a killer, and not hiding it, at least this way I have been forewarned and might be able to stop any knifes in my back, a chance to stand and fight. Rather than be slaughtered unwarily.

I do not think you are alone in those thoughts, I know I have had them, and got rid of them, and then other things happen and they come back.
Today I am seeing what the enemy has done and is doing to me at least, is trying, has and will not give up in trying to put me on a guilt trip, through me not being good enough to be loved. When truth is God does just love me, and you too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think God through the cross came to take away the guilt trip and ask us to do justly as much as possible, Love Mercy, because without God's Mercy we would not stand a chance, and to walk humbly, not being proud nor boastful

I am amazed how many threads there are in the teens and young adult sections of this message board dedicated to sexuality. Are our young people really that uninformed? If they are, then that is really, really, miserably sad. Here we are as Christians claiming to know the right way to handle sex and related topics, but we stay silent about it. And as a result we get this situation, where they don't know what to do with these desires in them. Or even worse they do it the world's way, which has severe possible consequences.

I feel a blog post coming up about this.

I also seem to have some anger concerning this lack of education.

Day 18

Today my sister turned 24. If I had a job to pay for her humble gift requests, I would. I'm not quite sure how useful I was during today's fundraiser. It was good seeing the summer students doing their thing. I have to admit their work is a little sloppy, but at least they got something to kill their time while they "work." I hate being addicted to cigarettes. I'm glad my elder offered me some patches. I need to keep my head leveled. I need to keep my mind occupied...
