When the you have the wisdom from the Father to teach this, your appraisal of His Word, by all means teach it as the Gospel truth, until then, do not confuse any who may be weak in understanding with your conjecture. This is not of the Word. The Word is Yeshua.
It was prophesied He would be in the earth three days and nights. He was crucified on a Friday according to real scholars, as for counting from there, I need no scholarly advice, I believe He fulfilled all prophesy, so there is no need for me to be convinced what day it was He rose, but many will say from Friday, before sunset, it is counted Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to fulfill all righteousnous.

And just as we freely received the righteousness required by the 9 commandments, so also we have freely received the righteousness required by the 10 commandments. All that is required of us is to abide in that righteousness through faith (not through works of law). Along with loving one's neighbor as one's self, that is the law of the new covenant. The letter of the law doesn't matter any more. It is the obedience of love and faith that GOD requires, i.e., the spirit of the law.

If you work Monday through Saturday then Sunday is your sabbath. If you work Sunday through Friday then Saturday is your Sabbath.
Shucks, I was going to ask the same,''in the new heavens and new earth what day will be the 'eternal' sabbath?' But you got there first.

I've actually heard said that He might have been crucified on Wednesday of Thursday, that that year (don't know how they figured this) Passover was actually on a Wednesday or Thursday? Which it seems fitting Christ would be crucified on Passover day. He would then have been in the grave three full days and three full nights one way or another. We can't be sure if it was Saturday at sundown or Sunday morning when He arose, obviously. Seems fitting He would have arose after sabbath was over. But I honestly don't know. I just thought it was an interesting assertion.

I believe after the one with whom I am conversing, not you, has post to me, "get over yourself," not being a hypocrite, I am entitled to respond at the same level I am addressed. As for doing what I condemn, I condemn nothing, not even ridicule, I advise and teach against it. Why do you not pay attention. Read the material before you commenting. I have been motivated to quote a proverb on this in the past, but you know the word, and you know what type of person answers a question before it is answered.
You and your friends here do get together for mischief it seems to me. This is how I see it, it is an opinion. Now, get smart and contrive an opinion. This has been the tonic from your type in the threads for some time. It makes for entertainemnt for the very base, but it is not sharing the love that is Yeshua.

I am totally injured now. You guys are so mature it gives me the shivers. Do you suppose you could get on the subject of the OP again? Or perhaps on the subject of the forum that is Bible discussion which includes what good conduct could be for all who believe Yeshua. Not a bad idea, right?
