That is meaningless. Moreover also is just the way it was translated, and probably only in the King James; has nothing to do with the original languages.
Heres another billion (or more) to one coincidence you can claim to be meaningless

EXODUS 31[15] Six days may work be done; but in THE SEVENTH IS THE SABBATH of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.[16] Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a PERPETUAL COVENANT.[17] It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

If you have a KJV bible you will find the words “PERPETUAL COVENANT” only in these 2 scriptures. Jer. 50 and Exodus 31. Exodus 31 speaks of the sabbath as the “perpetual covenant” and Jer.50 speaks of that “perpetual covenant” being forgotten by His people. But...in verse 5 Gods people will return to that perpetual covenant {the sabbath} and it will not be forgotten

"in those days and in that time"= a good study

JER.50 [4] In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.[5] They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in A PERPETUAL COVENANT that shall not be forgotten.[6] MY PEOPLE HATH BEEN LOST SHEEP: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN THEIR RESTINGPLACE.

Okay, I have many who oppose me. To those, I ask what law saved you? Was it thou shalt have no other gods before me. Or was it thou shalt not kill. Or maybe thou shalt not covet. Or was it this, Thou shalt love your neighbor as yourself. Shall I continue.

What saved you? Answer the cross. Why do you boast in a law that cannot save you or make you righteous. Make sense Wall. Jesus said" I am the way the truth and the life, no man may come to the Father except through me". Yo are trying to get there through law!!!!

Well, even though I take the view of the Sabbath in the article I shared. Remember Christ came to full-fill the law, not destroy it. Sabbath is part of the fullfillment . But Christ never did away with the Ten Commandments. And if you brake those, don't think that a man will be in good standing.
But He did away with blood ritual """( Concordances )""" of the Law. Not the law itself . This is written.

What many neglect is to carefully read what they are quoting from scriptures, Paul never said the Ten Commandments where not to be followed. And he never down played them.

What he was all the time referring to was the Commandments of circumcision and sacrificing
of animals to forgive sins, that's what can't save you ;so that is what was done away with. . Not the Ten Commandments .. We got to try and rightly divide the word in study.

I misspelled ordinances on the post blow.

There are no ordinances in the Ten Commandment Law. An ordinance is either a memorial of something that has already passed or a type of something in the future

Yes I have kept all the Ten Commandments.

But I tried to steal when I was a kid, and I repented for that in Christ name. But I still keep the commandments. You wont find me murdering anyone anytime soon.

No ones perfect. That is why you repent in Christ name. But that dose not do away with the law... I am drawing from the scripture.

Matthew 5:17-20

King James Version (KJV)

Christ speaking :

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

why are people so hard headed.. and just don't want to understand... (A BRIEF SUMMARY OF WHAT WE MUST DO ) ok listen... first of all the 10 commandments was never for the gentiles was for the jews and guess what.. that convenant was also done away with this scripture proves it.. instead god made a new covenant for them this is his new covenant for them instead of the 10 commandments Hebrews 8:1-13

8 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
now if you choose not to accept it.. there is nothing i can do it's right there written, THE WORD OF GOD, THE GOD WE WORSHIP SAID THIS! nothing more i can say the blind will lead the blind with your man made doctrines

Yeshua declares He gives us rest for our SOUL, which has nothing at all to do with the Shabbat of the Lord, which gives us rest from our six days of labor. Do not ignore this important distinction.

Read the writings of the Word from which the first believers learned and you will find there are many sabbaths, but only one Sabbath of the Lord for resting from our physical labors.

that's where the problem comes from.. whenever you hear "law" "commandments" i advise you to judge yourself and ask yourself questions is this the right thing that i am doing? lets be honest.. do you work 6 days everysingle week? without taking an off day? do you know how not to covet? trying not to covet isn't knowing how not to covet do you know.. how not to covet and do you see what it says Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. says do you see what this is saying? your neighbor is anyone besides you.. and this is saying NOR ANY THING THAT IS THY NEIGHBOUR'S that means if you as much as look at a cute dog a car a bike.. anything and covet "desire to have it" you breaking the law... do you realise this? so please tell me how you're keeping the commandments " perfectly " or once you keeping the sabbath everything good is that it?

Matthew 19:24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

Matthew 6:24
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Colossians 3:5
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

Look, your Jumping to conclusions , like most people, based on a vague understanding of a few verses .

Hebrews 8 you see Paul mention

3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

This is what Paul is saying can not forgive sins. Understand ? He is not talking about the law of the Ten Commandments.

Read in Leviticus what was done to forgive sins if you do not know. He is talking of the blood ordinances .

Galatians 3:21

King James Version (KJV)

21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

God forbid because the law of God is Not against the promises of God. And to add, he says if there was even a law, that was able to "Forgive sins for to offer eternal life" , there should have been one .

Documenting, the only thing, the law was not able to do, was to forgive sins. Okay? Understand, what part of the law was give to remove sins ???????

It was the Blood ritual sacrifices of animals . The Ten Commandments was not given to Forgive sins was it ?

No, it was for to let us know how far away that we are from God and how much we need forgiveness. No one can keep those Commandments for we has sin in us that is preventing us from keeping them. That is why we first need to be baptize, not by water, but by the Holy Spirit. We need to be wash from our sinful nature but not by our physical nature, but the spiritual. And once that has been washed, our physical nature will be cleansed. Once we are cleansed, we wouldn't judge no one that is weak, but we will all show great concern for those that are weak, and which that is showing love. Anyone that follows the laws are the ones that hates their neighbors and can't wait to judge them.

Matthew 23:26
Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.

Luke 6:42
How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Christ forgives sin. So we better repent when we break, God's commandment. And people mess up. But that means people are bad. NOT the law . That is written.

Those are Christ words.

And don't compare the traditions of the Pharisee's to God's Commandments, that is in bad taste.

Again, The Ten Commandments was not given to forgive sin in the first covenant . The Blood rituals to forgive sin, was given to forgive sin, which could not truly forgive sin. That is what was done away with.

1 Timothy 1:8-11

King James Version (KJV)

8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

And if we break the law, you better repent of your sins. It is that simple. But God never did away, nor did Christ, with the Law of the Ten Commandments, and you better try your best to keep them. Your your soul will have sin on it. Which without Christ, cannot be erased

So repent, in Christ name.

For those who are trying to cause the innocent to sin.

Breaking the law is sin!

I speak of the Commandments, not the myriad of ceremonial laws, or food laws, or laws that require the Temple or living in Israel.

If people can sin after knowing Yeshua, then the law though no longer a curse, is still in effect, however when we sin we are forgiven, because of grace, because the guilt of our iniquity is not held against us (Psalm 32.)

Do not teach against the commandments of Yahweh, for they are not a burden to those who have come to Yeshua in spirit and truth.

If they are a burden for you, you must re-examine your friendship with Yeshua. Do you believe you can break laws with impunity? If so, you never knew the Lord. To teach against the commandments of Yahweh is, in effect, recrucifying Yeshua.

The shedding of the blood hasn't been done away; Jesus has came to show us how it is done and how easy it was to go through the process. No one doesn't like to here this, but it isn't that bad. Joseph the son of Israel had his blood shed, and also Job. From Abel to Zechariah has shed their blood. Once we has come out from tribulations, we will have even more greater substance that we has started out with.

Genesis 37:31Then they got Joseph’s robe, slaughtered a goat and dipped the robe in the blood.

Matthew 10:38
Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

Gen 12
20 Then Pharaoh gave orders about Abram to his men, and they sent him on his way, with his wife and everything he had.

Exodus 1:14
They made their lives bitter with harsh labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their harsh labor the Egyptians worked them ruthlessly.

Exodus 12:36
The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians.

The weekly sabbath was a shadow; Christ is the light that casts the shadow.

Which do you prefer? To walk in the light, or to walk in shadows?
Hmmm, a shadow? Lemme see here...

Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

and this was written twenty some years AFTER the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Paul says it is still pointing to something to come. The problem is that most do not recognize what the Sabbath is a shadow of...

2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

six days = six thousand years of man's misrule under the guidance of the god of this world

seventh day = the Millenium of rest in the Kingdom of God with Christ reigning on the earth.

We keep the shadow today still looking forward to the return of Christ and His one thousand year reign on the earth.

"Christ is the Sabbath" is one more false doctrine Satan has promulgated to hide the wonderful plan of God.
