I um...dropped...an open can of blueberry pie filling.

It would have maybe made less of a mess had the stupid can exploded.

That's right, Cris!! Blame the inanimate object! It's totally its fault. I should know. Stupid cups of water fall over all the time...dern things.


(Yeah...those cups are extremely clumsy. Or is it that I'M extremely clumsy? ...Nah, it's gotta be the cups.)



Yup...I'm that sarcastic towards myself.
 
I really hope to get all my debts and loans paid off, and then not get into any more debt, and among other things, eventually be able to be one of those people who leave tips of like $100 for waiters and waitresses and make their day.
 
I'm not...much of a TV person. Sure, there are a couple of shows I like to watch, but it's in the evening, after everything else is done for the day. And I barely pay attention...so that's...yeah.

With my mother-in-law here, the TV has been going All. Day. Every day.

I might 'accidentally' put my foot through the screen.
 
Going to a concert this week. Iron & Wine is playing (its a indie-type band). Should be a hipster-gathering, I will be like a researcher witnessing them in their natural habitat. Hope to come back with some insights into the complex mind of the Original Ones. Just hope that I don't get brainwashed, and become one of their tribe!
 
I watched The Hobbit tonight. GREAT movie. I loved it. :) It's not fair how they ended it, though. Wasn't happy. lol. I think this was my favorite scene in the movie:

1) I am really annoyed by the trend of how girls pose on Facebook now. Hand on hip, one leg slightly bent forward, slightly leaning back, head tilted. It just looks so...I don't know. Careful, yet monotonous and cliche. Maybe that's why I feel like I look awkward in standing pictures, because I have no idea what to do with my hands or my legs or anything.

2) I'm purging. Going through my clothes, purses, shoes, etc. and seeing what I can sell. I don't have a ridiculous amount of any of those things by any means, but I got to where I am now of having more than I need by thinking, "Well, I might wear this SOME day!", and I still have that mindset, so I'm having to clinch my teeth when I force myself to put things in the "Sell/give away" pile as I tell myself, "Rachel, you may wear this someday but the fact is you haven't worn it in months and haven't missed it."

How do you know when someone doesn't want to talk to you anymore.. Is it when he or she doesn't add to the conversation, or when he or she does not ask any questions just answers the questions you ask. I always struggle, wondering about that.

Maybe i'm socially retarded and don't know how to take a hint...

you're going to see iron and wine...you already are on of them
 
I'm pretty sure most facebook like pages are being run by women. Here's why. A lot of those like pages out there with the "Like if you agree" or "Share if you love Jesus" are pages like "We are teens" or "Stuff that teens do" and they'll have those along with lovey dovey quotes that are more wishful thinking than actual wisdom.

And honestly...how many guys would actually do that sort of thing? Most guys are driven nuts by those.


But I dunno. I could be completely wrong.

I'd say that if they only answer questions and don't ask any, or WORSE, if they don't make any comment at all about anything you've said about yourself, they are either uninterested, or completely inept at conversation and thus very boring.
 
anyone know how to remove that "share" bar that pops up on the mobile version of CC? It's invasive and when I try to get rif of it, I often open a thread I didn't intend to open. grrrr

I figured out how :)

at the bottom of the options is an arrow. Click on it and it makes all those options go away!
