Pick up your cross and follow christ :)

Godjustloveyou, period, start from this premise and see where God takes you in God's type of love

I have to go get my bread out of the oven, I can't watch the video, but I feel SO strongly about this. There are people on cc who talk of the love of our Savior being such that we don't need to live a life that follows what God says, the Holy Spirit that God gave us so we understand Him can be trusted to overcome every desire we have to sin.

God also gave us free will. We can know Him, and use our free will to choose sin, and sin kills.

Not only that, but I think the devil us using these people to instill in them that they need not work (yes I said work) to avoid sin. The devil knows scripture, and the devil knows how to use scripture for his promotion of death and destruction. The more he can get the church to accept sin, the closer he is to winning. The devil is promoting the idea of the Holy Spirit winning over sin, when it takes the Holy Spirit and the free will.

Free will is me choosing belief in the living God through Son Christ, and the results are works of God through me as God leads me like Noah, Abraham and Paul who was Saul.
Works are definitely involved, but none of my own, All God's in love to you and all

you can't lose your salvation, how can you be unborn when your already born? you will receive punishment if you go back to how you live before bible said so

[h=3]Ephesians 4:30[/h]King James Version (KJV)

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Paul said, Corin. 9:27 I must keep my body under subjection (control), while preaching the gospel or I could become a castaway (dammed). We are not robots. Demas walked away, so can we. Christ, will not let go of us, but we can let go of Him.

This is a contradiction. How can we let go of Christ if he refuses to let go of us? Are you more powerful than God.

Paul NEVER thought he would lose salvation. But he did understand he could become a prodigal son. A prodigal son had no power. and lost all his blessings until he returned. But he NEVER stopped being the son.

Stillbirth. We have been conceived, but are not yet fully born into our new immortal bodies.

Christ will deny those who deny him. I'm sure you can find that scripture verse.

so your saying someone who has come to TRUE saving faith, and has personally experienced his TRUE love would ever do this?

sorry, I am not buying it, I have been a prodigal son before. But I never denied knowing christ.

and even the apostle john would support my view.

he speak of these people..

he calls them antichrist:

1 John 2: [SUP]2 [/SUP]Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. [SUP]23 [/SUP]Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

but what does he say about them? that they had salvation and lost it? no, quite the opposite, he said they were never of us, (never saved)

[SUP]18 [/SUP]Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the[SUP][c][/SUP] Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. [SUP]19 [/SUP]They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

These people who deny christ never were saved, for if they truly at one time were saved, they never would have departed.

Matt 13:20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that HEARETH the word, and anon with joy RECEIVETH it;

21
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

It simple to lose it! It is a give, like any other given (as marriage). Have you seen people being divorced? Have U seen those who loved deeeply hating one another?

Yes! Salvation is a gift any could miss like Esau, like Adan...

Bookends the parable is a parable there si no sin in oarables.... God says His Kingdom is like the grapes and the work that neds to be done to get to the kingdom. I do not think God wants us to even think of what is sin and what is holy... God is showing that some will be worked for long and some not for long. I do not focus on sin, I focus on God and holiness and Kingdom...

The ones that woked long did not sin, but God shows HE GIVES AS HE WANTS, WITHOUT breaking ANY AGREEMENT.... God said, REPENT and BE BAPTIZED, and you shall recieve the Holy Ghost. How long that takes is UP TO HIM, like the PAYMENT to the grape harvesters.... It is up to Him and ALL will receive the same Holy Ghost. Some would not receive a holier ghost that others.... Focus on the Lord, let us not even mention sin and Satan.... Specially when the Lord does not mention either in a parable....

And Bookie, thank you for the change of heart to me! I can see you love me more than you used too! Who knows, maybe we will both be made PERFECTLY ONE IN CHRIST, SOON, I hope!

God bless you my friend!

Bookends, I showed you the same chapter where God said, not Cobus.... The SUCH AS SHOULD BE SAVED.... And I understand the word SHOULD is not WOULD! You tell me if all who was added was SAVED! If God says they SHOULD be saved there is NO guarentee that they WOULD be saved. For a fact they are NOT YET SAVED THEN! no matter if they would or should.

Read this verse I will copy and paste WITHOUT EDITING....
Acts 2:47....Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
It is a sin to question God's authority or ways/decisions (it's not a sin to question why), although you are write in saying that this isn't a parable about sin, but it's about those who had labored for God longer then those freshly coming in and they were clearly in the wrong by their thinking, for Christ rebuked them in the story. The parable is about our attitude toward new comers or late comers into the faith, it clearly stating that we should refrain from resentment because God loves those late comers just the same. This parable probably has more to do with the Jews who are saved but then are looking down on the gentiles who also believed are are saved. But sure it has application for us today...

Also, regarding Acts 2:47 and the rendering of "should" be saved, all I have to say is the KJV strikes again!

NKJV
[SUP]47 [/SUP]praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church[SUP][h][/SUP] daily those who were being saved.

Expanded bible
[SUP]47 [/SUP]They praised God and were ·liked by [looked upon favorably by] all the people. Every day the Lord added those who were being saved to the group of believers.

Youngs literal translation
[SUP]47 [/SUP]praising God, and having favour with all the people, and the Lord was adding those being saved every day to the assembly.

it is? how?

To ask such a question demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the concept of Covenant in the Bible. It is a question that that exhibits such a complete misunderstanding of Biblical salvation (both Old and New Covenant), that I see no reason to even respond to it as it will go unheard.

To show another example that once saved/ Always saved is from The devil, please read the story in Acts 5 verses 1-11. In this story, two Christian converts Ananias and his wife Sapphira lied about much profit they made on a possession they sold, and were supposed to pay ten percent of the increase as Tithes to the Church. And God revealed their lying unto Apostle Peter. After Peter confronted them, God slew both of them. So if they were "Once saved/ Always Saved" why did God slay them? Answer....they lied and pretended they only received less then they actually did....

And why did Apostle Paul concern himself with being a possible "Castaway" if he did not keep himself under subjection? ( I Corinthians 9 v 27)...

lol. No my friend, You can;t answer.

there are two types of covenants in the bible. Evidently you can not see this./

1. There are unconditional covenants. IE the abrahaimc covenant. God did not say, if you do this, I will do that, He said I WILL.

2. There are conditional covenants. Ie the law or mosaic. God said if you do this, I will bless you, If you do not, I will curse you.

The abrahamic covenant is our salvation. Not by our doing but by Gods doing, He saved us, He said I WILL give you eternal life. He did not say if you obey this law and that I will save you, if you do not I will not.

The mosaic covenant was not given to save us, It was given to teach us, and to lead us.

1. It leads us to Christ, Non of us can fulfill it. thus we ALL need the high priest.
2. It shows his people how to be blessed. Do these things and you will be blessed.

In fact, it is you who does not understand covenants. Even David understood (sacrifice and burnt offering you did not desire)

But hey, if you think you can earn salvation, feel free..

Of course, you will not listen..
