I'm taking multimedia arts. :)

As a kid, i'd always shown passion to arts. Whenever there will be arts competitions in school, my teacher(s) has always encourage me to join but then i'd always refuse cause i don't want to compete. I only like making arts for fun.

What i wanted is to be a flight stewardess so i can travel around the world (i know its far different from my passion). ;P

My follow up questions to Grace-like-rain, iTorethesky, Jimjimmers, and Jullianna.

Where's your favorite place to be? Why?

Q. To:
Ugly Kenthomas, Misscriss, Catlynn, Jilly81 and others :

What's the wackiest belief you held as a child?

*** My fav place to be & why?...Well if you mean geographically or like a specific place, there's many places I'd like to see,but haven't yet. I like to sit outside in the fall drinking coffee just being with good friends. The thought of that brings back fond memories & I haven't been able to do that in a really long time due to many factors beyond my control. I guess now that I'm a bit older I don't crave wanting to be "doing" something 24/7 anymore. I'm just content with being at home sharing a blanket with a loved on & a doggie. lol God...this is getting pathetic. I think I'll change my fav place to be would be under a rock right now. :p

LOL, green eggs and ham, seoulFOUND, I never have eaten green eggs, seoulfound you am. I'm not knowing where I'd go to get them, I am, I am. I'm certainly open to trying most things, although the 'balut' catty put in a picture looked unsurprisingly unappetizing :D SeoulFOUND, I would like to try fried green tomatoes, to me they look tasteless but, maybe, that's just because I know regular green tomatoes taste insipid and sour. Full disclosure: This is NOT a knock on the color 'green.' :D

EE: that costume stuff is 'epic,' Em, that's a gift of costuming excellence that God has give you, I see. Do you go to 2nd hand stores and put these outfits together? I say that sincerely. Or, do you make your own outfits? Hmm, 'EE' maybe, NOW you need a new username on c.c., milady :D

Yeah, I was into Link as I've said, EE, finished the thing on NES, thank you, Lord. 3 months and a bit of help from my sister's beau on clues stumping me helped a lot, too, way back when, in '91. Seriously, it was a lot of fun, the Lord leads. :) I also before then, way before then, drew up campaigns for my friends to explore--monsters, dungeons, caverns, rooms, pits, keys, potions, puzzles, etc.-- and, die in. And, that was fun when I was 15, '84. I do wish i would have let my one friend live through an adventure, but I think the Jubilex (water monster, with 'elemental' skills) killed him because I wanted him to quit doing D&D and his high ranking character was too important in his life. Was that it? Almost sounds creepy, doesn't it? I do know, I and he had high ranking characters and we went into a D&D module adventure in perfect shape and came out dead. Or, wait, that means, we never came out :D That was tough on me, made me think of the word 'obsession.' But, the Lord leads, I just saw it as my not needing to play D&D anymore when i was 16 and I never really played much after that, if at all. My friend quit after that 'Queen Of The Demonweb Pits' massacre too. So, I only wounded him in my made-up adventure for him, and, the mortal combat came a year later for his mortal death and it wasn't even 'the queen' that killed our party, you'd think, we could've at least got killed by her :D All 9 in our party died from something, I forget what now. I don't know why I say all this. Our lives can be fun and games but we just need to keep things in perspective, His :)

CAtty: What did 'balut' taste like? With that kind of backyard, you could 'cosplay' quite well with your kids, I think, I have yet to know what that means, except, I just think of the words, 'role play,'

EE: What brought on your fascination to Link? Someone give you a Nintendo DS with Link game? What's better? Elder Scrolls or Link ? On another note, based on your costume pictures, I would say that you would make a good event coordinator for a career, or, maybe, like gracepouringrain, painting kids faces, or, maybe, full costuming them kids at a b-day party for some medieval, middle earth scene, and, you can use catty's backyard for the scenes. Wow! I can only guess. Catty only showed half of her property in a picture, so, I assume the other half is a huge mountain, with ravine, and narrow winding trail, and, a dragon lives in its core :D

mizcris: Sorry to hear you guys fight playing certain types of boardgames, sorry, you can only play the 'chance' ones. Boardgames were a bond for my sister and I growing up, we did fight, at times, but, I, more than her, too-- enjoyed boardgames. Maybe you should try card games, like Pinochle, inviting over friends. I think, the competitiveness nature can be tough on some, and, it's best to let the Lord lead us to be less competition in life and more fun. Let other person win and still have fun is good advice, tough to do, but, nevertheless, good advice. :) That would be an example of 'Love,' too :) Also, it can be selfish nature if we don't play one style of games because someone is better than us, that's God saying, 'Go read a book to be able to compete better at that game you're losing at all the time.' i was losing all the time to my cousin in Gin card game and I went and read a Hoyle book and after that started winning some of the time, it was much more fun for me. It was for my cousin too but she didn't really mind whipping me either it's fair to say :)
I say this just for the Lord's leading, it sounds like your relationship with you hubby, mizcris, is beautifully going, God is so good. :)

mizcris: do you grow indoor plants, like chia pets herbs in the winter times. Do you have corn now or pumpkins, squash that you make into things this time of year?

kentom: yeah, lane kiffin OUT , I said in another thread, too, that he was not doing well at USC. Now, he's really not doing well. Utah scooped him rather quickly, I think he will do well there, but PAC-12 to WAC, what a demotion, but, he's young, and, youth, that's what got him, i think. Hmm, that, and, USC was just suffering from sanctions imposed by NCAA that have decimated that school's program. Also, if you would have watched that game on Saturday vs. Arizona, coach kiff chewed out his quarterback and national tv saw it happen. It wasn't his QB's fault, really, the offensive line wasn't doing its job, the blame was on the wrong guy, or, 'guys,' in this case, as I saw it. I think I know now, others saw it that way, too.

kentom: that was a good answer for why you are encouraging. Others 'don't expect it.' There is something profound in that statement. I do want to say, and, this is not a knock on you, like I said, you've been being encouraging to everyone on c.c. lately. I mean, Janet Jackson's song , 'What have you done for me lately?' has no equal. YOU have been encouraging :) But, be careful, with words, like 'Kharma is a....' Just be careful, see how the Lord works on your heart from things like that, you will see Him more and more, bro, as you do and say things that are encouraging to Him, remember, whatever you do, do it ALL for the glory of God.

kentom: question. or, two, or four, for you now. :) You see at all where fingerprint sensors are going to start being put on guns in the future? What did you think of that James Bond scene from 'Skyfall' when that guy picked up that 'sensor' gun to shoot JB ? What is your favorite shoot'em up movie? Why? I was wondering too, did Kiffin tell Tennessee fans that he was not going anywhere and then he left? Coaches like to do that in sports, happens a lot, if kiff did that.

littleChristone: And, to you, milady, what is the Creation Museum? I'm guessing ,but I bet julieannie knows where it is :)

My husband and I do like quite a few card games- that's a good, safe option for us :) We used to have a big group of friends in the city we used to live in to have poker nights with (yeah, yeah...gambling...). We'd all buy in for 10 bucks, or 5, whatever everyone could afford, and there were never any hard feelings towards the winners. I miss that...it was competitive between me and my husband, but not to the point either of us ever got mad at each other over it. But we like playing gin, or cribbage, too.

I don't grow anything in the house for a few reasons- the main one being the 3 cats. They tend to attack house plants and kill them. Also, we don't have much space in this house for plants. Also...I forget to water house plants more often than not...

Our garden is done for this year. We only grew potatoes, carrots, and onions this year because the couple of times we've tried corn or pumpkins, nothing came of it. The plants grew, but never produced anything much. We just have a super short growing season here- generally from about the end of May to mid-late September, if we're lucky (we've been known to have huge snow storms in the middle of June, and this year, it snowed once already about a week ago). I can't remember exactly, but I think the area I live in has one of the shortest growing seasons in the state (or country, maybe? Not sure).

I think for next summer, we're going to set up some tables and lights in the basement to get things started growing earlier (in a room the cats can't get in).

Gun sensors, implanted gps, a retina scan - none of this stuff really bothers me as much as the thing that actually IS happening - the lack of ammunition - EVERYWHERE. Gov't is buying it up.

Oh - the "Kharma is a Butch" quote is for Butch Jones - the new head coach at UT.

At UT, when a coach for football is chosen - it's kinda like they really go thru this long process - it's like a courtship! So they date a while and Kiffin and UT ended up loving each other and finally got married, then after one season - he sees this real purty California blond girl and gets all choked up and SPLITS. UT and the ENTIRE STATE OF TENNESSEE saw this as STEPPIN OUT. when you step out in Tennessee you step out on your own AND FOR GOOD. But no hard feelings really.

LOL, KT, I thought that kiff already went to UT, I should not have assumed, Ithought he went straight from TN to CA. I think ,with kiff, TN, at one point had the longest home winning streak, that guy was real popular there. I just thot when he left it would be a rough exit for him and fans, 'bitterly acrid' comes to mind :D

OK, i see your reasoning, no worries, bro, I'm a stickler for SOME things and your context makes sense for 'Butch,' I see you know your sports well. What do you think of Jake Locker? You saw what happened last Sunday? Locker is a 'winner,' he hails from my state, WA. He went to Ferndale HS and was a state champion QB a couple years and at U of W he really improved (passing efficiency) after sophomore year. He's a good leader, you guys got our Seahawks QB, too, Matt Hasselbeck, he was in his last years tho, and, good tutor for Jake tho :)
Who is more popular , the Volunteers or the Titans ?

OK , miladies, I'm in a sports mood, don't mind me :D

---
Oh, I see mizcris, be careful of lily pots in your house, too, fyi: the leaves are poison to cats, especially 'attack cats.' :)
You could grow Chia pet herb 'gardens' in your windowsill, too, where your cats won't get them.
ah, yes, gambling card games, my buddies and I played 'Guts,' that's what we called it, I think it was a version of Texas Hold'em but not sure. I went to NY when i was 22 and we played with our money there. I don't know why we did that. We always used chips before but this time we used money and I lost mine to my buddies and was in a bad mood after that the rest of the trip (fortunately, we were there only a couple more days), not to mention, broke :( :D

Leaping Lizards, Batman!!

That's how I felt when I first saw the nearly 10 questions for me to answer...but...then...I was like:

You Really Love Me! - YouTube

...so, Imma answer dese questions!!!

Jilly81 said:
All (as in, this question is for everyone, especially those who I didn't post a specific question for): How has Jesus most comforted or enthralled you, if you've met Him already? If you haven't met Him, then I think the best question is "would you like to PM any questions you have?"
Most comforted or enthralled me, eh? [Insert 'Hm, let's see now...That's a toughy.' clip from A Goofy Movie here.]

Um, I'd say He's most comforted me through heartbreak via loss of relationships, life situation, or just literally saving my life/letting me know He was there and it's all good several times. As for enthralled, well...the way He loves me, calls me, works in/through me, and still always wants me no matter how screwed up I am or make things...

Could you please post a link to your favorite song out of all the ones you wrote, Reece, and tell us why it's your fave?

This one is A LOT harder to answer, 1, because it's super specific, 2, because I'm not a 'favorites' type, and 3, because I've only recorded about 10 of now around 80 songs...but if I had to pick one from what's available...

Uproar Hello Again - YouTube

Probably this...it was the first original of mine adopted by my band at the time (In His Service), and the most well received of our songs by others. The video was one of our biggest concerts, and the memories it holds are great. Though it might sound considerably different when I play it now, it, then, and they, will always hold a very special place in my heart and mind.

AsifinPassing: (Well, not a question... I just realized that your name is "as if in passing". Mind blown. I thought "Asifin" might be some sort of anime character who Passes a particular spot on his way to work everyday, or something... )

Congratulations!! Figuring that out on your own is a rare feat, and I commend you for it. The meaning will hopefully be as memorable as your epiphany. ^_~

It worries me that our friendship is hingent on something so small, but to answer, no, I do not wear socks with sandals. I did, however, at one time, and hold no qualms with those who do. Hopefully we can still be friends... ^_~

Everyone: Do you have a scar with a funny, not-embarrassing-or-painful story behind it?
I have many scars which may or may not fit all that criteria, but let's see:

There is a scar located (more or less) above the inner part of my left eyebrow. I received it as a child of around 6 when one of my cousins and I were playing baseball in his father's church parking-lot. Their parsonage and church were close together, much like ours, and we spent a lot of our childhood days playing.

Well, Phillip couldn't find his bat, so he decided to use an old, wooden plank from the brush-pile out back instead. Insisting that this was a handicap, we used the 'tee' post from 'tee-ball' for the game. I stood a reasonable distance behind/beside him as he prepared to swing, but stopping...he once again insisted that I stand on the other side of him, because his follow through would likely wind up hitting me. I argued...for a while, but eventually gave in to his urging...

Re-positioning myself on his other side, I took another precautionary step backward, however, as he wound up, and reared back, the corner of the plank had just enough reach to high-five my forehead. Toppling backward (probably with some form of verbal reaction), I put my hand to my head.

Meanwhile, a church social (or the like) was occurring inside

Holding my hand over my head, and followed closely by my questioningly concerned cousin, I walked toward where I knew my parents were, watching the blood fall in rapid drips on the ground, my shoes, and later the church carpet. All the time, it wasn't so much that I cried or was in pain, but cursed myself for listening to my stupid cousin instead of myself, and wondering how these things (being my 5th or so serious-scar related injury) always seemed to happen to me.

Well, needless to say, ever gasped in horror as a little boy trod in with a blood-drenched arm and head wound. They scrambled me to the Doctor's office (small town, no hospital...) where I had an x-ray for the first time (which scared me, and I had to watch in process without me once or twice before agreeing), and also got to hear the nurse give me a hard time about 'having no brain' because the x-ray slot for my inside my skull was pitch black.

In the words of Simple Plan, "Welcome to my life."

What are you studying in college and what do you plan to do with your degree?
Well, thank you for asking, Jules. I'm 21 hours short of my undergrad, Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA), and unsure if I'll go on later to get an MBA or not. Nonetheless, once I finish, I'll go to seminary for a Master's in Divinity (*required by my Denom for Ordained Eldership), and hopefully continue to a Doctorate in Theology (for fun), because I like theology, don't really fancy demons (Doctorate in Ministry Joke), and like the idea of being called, "Dr. Player". ^_~

Hey SweetGreenz! Youth is going well, bro! I need to take 'em out on a trip and some mission again, actually...

The biz degree is on temporary hiatus while I'm paying outstanding debts so that I may finish...

And, God is always moving, but in that regard...I'm not quite sure. I know I'm still called to be a Minister (for more than Youth, as important as they are), and that business is a integral but supplementary aspect of life for me.

Thanks for asking, hommie! =3

To everyone: Apart from that fact that YOU'RE AWESOME, what have you been doing lately (irl)?

Jilly!! Hey friend! How's home on the range? Any new developments in Love...? ...and...what's the 81 for?

Jules: IF you could hang out with anyone on here for a day, who, what would you do, where, and 'if only's' are allowed, but only when raising your hand...? ...and...how's your heart, lady???

MeanGreen: Hey buddy!! How's the pup? Ministry going? What's work like? Can I interest you in a deliciously hand-crafted beverage today?

howdy, awesome dude, ASIF! :)
Never forget. You're awesome.
Which of those two two-letter words is a movie ?
Quiz question of the day :D

Pup's doing OK, she hurt her leg a month ago, I'm trying to have it heal through limited movement, which is a chore, she loves to move. A subject of prayer. In another month, I will let her go back to her old self, in limited action, gradually adding more and more activity. I think, by 3 months she should be completely better. If not, surgery is the next step. (she tore her tendon a month ago).

Ministry is wherever I am, like, right here, or, in my 'Daniel' class, which is Wednesday nights, like, tonight, now, isn't it, I speak up when the Lord leads. Prophecy is quite a subject though. The Lord is teaching me a lot about it now as I pray :)
Work is good, God is good providing me merchandise sales from the items purchased in last couple months. Could use the word 'stressful,' but, with my sights focused on Him, I'm STRESSLESS IN SEATTLE :)

I'm not sure what you mean by 'hand-crafted beverage,' but, YOU BET ! :)

Not sure what 'Uproarious Hello Again' means/sounds like. But, I liked the song you presented us a bit ago on c.c., your voice is unique, Reecepeace, as I said, I only heard the top 'register,' as i remember, but, it's a beautiful sound of song God's gifted you with. Keep on humming and vocally bringing His words to others :) Never forget in your forage for life's things through the 'forest,' God hears all the forecasting dreams of your heart as you are for Him living .Living ! Live ! Living ! Life brought to a sleepless state, stirring, only in His Love, awesomely producing fruit for others, for YOU :)

Chainhand is a cool name. If I could move to another state and didn't have to worry about proximity to family, etc, I'd definitely choose Florida. The Emerald Coast calls to me.

Oops, first of all I forgot to post the pizza for Holly and Cristen. So, here it is; enough for everyone in the thread to share. Just watch out for that guy in the front; he's looking at the camera like it's his next victim or something.

iTOREtheSKY, next time a telemarketer calls, please impersonate Ray Romano and we'll see if you can fool them, eh? Oh, oops, you're just on our side of the border; not "eh".

Grace_Like_Rain, those are REALLY cool looking; what a fun way to celebrate a birthday :)! 13 "likes", not surprising. I want to be a lavender butterfly or pixie, please :).

WWJD_Kilden, wow... I'm so glad things got better for you! Funny how comfort can come in so many different ways... I'm glad that lady told you that vision/word of knowledge she had, Astrid :).
What's your favorite thing about Scotland? I was disappointed to see that you haven't been called a lass yet; I find that word to be so charming!

Zaoman32, cool, thanks for explaining. When I shortened your name to "Zay" once, someone told me privately that it was surely "Zow" for short. I have already told this person that I was right, soooo thanks, Mike :D!

MissCris, I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall. Since prolly some people are wondering what I look like, my hair is kind of like yours, or a cross between yours and SeoulSearch's (when hers is curled). Other than that, I look like Grace_Like_Rain with some of your facial structure. And Cristen, thanks for asking the nail polish question. Bizarrely, it's actually complicated. At the moment I can't paint my nails. Long story, but it has to do with my lack of free time and my job; it's kind of agreed that nobody will wear it where I work because we have to deal with the public whilst simultaneously doing things that would chip it, and we don't want to look sloppy. I might be able to get everyone to agree to an occasional exception as long as it's removed as soon as it starts to chip, so maybe I'll bring it up at the next meeting. I'd love to try some lavender polish :). What's your favorite color? Wow, did I just type that much about nail polish? Did I just win, or lose :)? K, posting this so I can read more posts here :D!

DuchessAimee, when I was little, I wanted to be EVERYTHING :D! Well, anything that I considered to be feminine, anyway. So, let's see, ballerina, model, actress, artist, horseback rider (I know, I know; this was before I realized that you couldn't automatically get paid to do something just cuz you wanted to do it; you generally had to get actual work done), childcare provider, mom, cheerleader, teacher, probably a waitress........ etc :). What about you; what was your childhood aspiration :)?

Ugly, you should seriously consider fund-raising in the form of "If I can raise $5,000 (5 million, perhaps? whatever it's worth), I'll take a ballet lesson and record it on video; the password to view it will depend on amount donated".

SeoulSearch
, maybe you should threaten -er, coerce Nukey to come back to the thread. If he hasn't already; I haven't gotten very far yet; had less time than I thought I would the past couple days :).

xAlphaOmega, the original question I was going to ask you was "have you ever planted an apple tree?". I should've just gone with that one instead; my bad.

Grace_Like_Rain, I have to admit that I tend to be weird about brushing my teeth, but more like it's boring, so I have to force myself to just finish, or else I just walk around trying to find something more amusing to do simultaneously. Crazy, I know, but I'm getting better about just going ahead and doing it :). What about you; any OCD habits? If you've already answered, I'll see it; Imma get to all the questions and answers eventually, Lord willing.

Actually, I think she's your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate.

What's that make us?

Absolutely nothing.

We don't have a fall garden because...I don't....actually know. Huh. Maybe I'll look into that for next year. I don't even know what should go in a fall garden :O
Our temps are too low in the fall.......you'd definitely have to hold to the basement grow room.

Where are ya Oncefallen when we need ya!!?? :D "Reason: probably not the best info to put on the internet.

But even if that's what she meant, it's legal in Colorado.................not that I would condone it. One of the guys that works for me has a MMJ card and has been growing his own for years.
