I want to crash MissCriss's house so I can play in the snow, and I will pay rent by helping with the kids. :p

Speaking of kids, the other night I dreamed I had a little girl, a toddler. She started SCREAMING because she wanted to play Guitar Hero. I told her "Not today". "But I want to play it TODAY!!" I then asked her calmly, "How many days are in a year? 365. So you have 364 other days to play it, but not today." And she stopped crying and screaming and was like, "Oh, okay." If only children thought rationally like that and it was that easy.

Also, MissCriss, for some reason I think you'll appreciate this. When I was watching those kids last week, we played cherades (yeah, I'm pretty sure that's not how you spell that but oh well) and I told them to pick an animal to act out. One girl, 4 years old (my favorite...not that I picked a favorite...), got on all fours and walked around while flailing her head around and whipping her hair. We threw out all the names we could think of. We finally gave up and asked her what she was. "I'm a lightbulb shaking my head yes!" My first response was ".... o_O " but then I had to control my laughter.

iTORE - I love that picture of the cat and the snow. I'm going to try that this winter with my cat. I will probably end up getting a picture of my cat glaring at me with murder in her eyes, though.

I'm not one to normally complain about my spouse. I appreciate all the insight. He doesn't come to this place. It was me venting period, that's it. Sorry if I offended anyone. And thank you for the prayers. :)

Nods: I haven't seen snow in yeeeeaaars.
Trust me, you're not missing much.
yeah, snow is not all it's cut out to be, it's kind of cool at first, but then, it's dangerous, when you have to drive in it. I have a 4x4 which helps tration wise. On paper, LOL, I have more control than some driving on the snow. But a lot of folks forget that even with 4-wheel-drive one still can't stop any sooner with 4 wheels than two.
Plus, snow loses its welcome rather quickly when it starts to melt and is all slushy and gets you shoes and pant legs all wet.

Aaaaand....it's snowing now. It looks really weird, the snow falling against a mostly green (and some gold) background.

Soup made from random ingredients in the house the day before shopping day is quite scrumptious. ^_^

Bike riding is great exercise. Bike riding with flat tires is even more so.

My mom asked me to put a desk together for her today.

I told her it was worse than Ikea stuff, about 60 pieces, and this one required glue (not nearly enough provided either). I told her I needed to go out and buy some wood glue or this thing would never hold.

She asked me "well what does it look like though?" I told her "it's hard to tell, it's in about 60 pieces right now.

Given that this is you we're talking about.. I have to ask..

Is this real snow, or something that comes out of a spray can?

It's real. A couple of weeks early and I think she should send it my way.

Hey now! What's that supposed to mean? EH? :p

It's totally real. And totally cold and wet and weighing down tree branches and hitting me in the eye.
