I want to crash MissCriss's house so I can play in the snow, and I will pay rent by helping with the kids.
Speaking of kids, the other night I dreamed I had a little girl, a toddler. She started SCREAMING because she wanted to play Guitar Hero. I told her "Not today". "But I want to play it TODAY!!" I then asked her calmly, "How many days are in a year? 365. So you have 364 other days to play it, but not today." And she stopped crying and screaming and was like, "Oh, okay." If only children thought rationally like that and it was that easy.
Also, MissCriss, for some reason I think you'll appreciate this. When I was watching those kids last week, we played cherades (yeah, I'm pretty sure that's not how you spell that but oh well) and I told them to pick an animal to act out. One girl, 4 years old (my favorite...not that I picked a favorite...), got on all fours and walked around while flailing her head around and whipping her hair. We threw out all the names we could think of. We finally gave up and asked her what she was. "I'm a lightbulb shaking my head yes!" My first response was "....
" but then I had to control my laughter.
iTORE - I love that picture of the cat and the snow. I'm going to try that this winter with my cat. I will probably end up getting a picture of my cat glaring at me with murder in her eyes, though.
