Yes! Yes! Yes! believe God has someone very specific for me. He told me early on that he had a husband for me that my heart has always desired, and one week the Lord was speaking very clearly to me about him. The Lord showed me three times a man walking down the road to me, and he spoke the verse to me three different times that nothing is impossible with God! Then that weekend my Pastor preached on, "Noting is impossible with God!" He preached on how Mary didn't have to have a man to have a baby. God can do anything. The Lord also spoke to my heart that week about the widow woman in the bible who was about ready to lose her son as a slave because of her debt, about how God had her borrow bowls and had her fill them with oil, and through that he multplied the oil and paid all of her debt. The Lord reminded me of that event in the bible and showed me that he would provide for me till my husband came (of course, even aftewards). Well, that weekend when my Pastor preached on the widow woman and during his message he would stop and look at me and ask me if I see my husband coming down the road to me (3 times) and quoted the verse "nothing is impossible with God (3 times) and preached on the widow woman. So, I know God has someone very specfic for me and he is coming to me, I'm not going to him. God is faithful to his promises!
I love that, thank you so much for sharing it builds my faith :) bless you

A mathematician does not get an opening like this everyday: Like most things God asks of us, that is irrational, but transcendent(al).
Precisely. Integral and determinant too. :D

There is no fraction worthy of pi. But pi is four times the sum of 1-1/3+1/5-1/7+1/9-1/11+1/13-..... to infinity. So it takes an infinite amount of odd people each to submit themselves to the ONE, in order to get the desired result.

And this is why there is more than one banana in the picture. This whole concept is enough to drive us all bananaS.

Here is a thought JoyofLord What if like Moses, who saw the promised land but could never dwell in it,you saw the wife you KNOW God has for you,but can never partake of receiving her? Many years ago i had this happen to me. She lives far away, and my money situation and life is as such I cannot go to be with her.

But we both know each other is the one! We spent a great deal of time talking on the internet, but after a while the pain of knowing the chances of really being with each other was slim,I called it off. I did this for her sake, she is only 35 years of age,I did not wish to tie her down.I wanted to!!But i knew from the Lord I could not!

BUT!! At least i saw my wife to be!! Many cannot even say that! All sin is forgiven, but sometimes the consequences from that sin can remain.I only speak for myself of course. i know why I cannot cross over, and so does she. What is difficult is being and staying content in ones life at present! Peace with circumstances( Philippians 4:11-14) verse 14- some affliction can remain like a thorn in the flesh( 2 cor 12:9-10) But I have the Lord's grace so therefore i am content in my weakness. For when I am weak, then I am strong! To truly look to Jesus in our lives through everything that goes on in our life is of course not easy, nor always enjoyable, but needed!( heb 10:36)

So the epic conclusion of all this is OBVIOUSLY... Banana Pi.

Yes, please. With extra whipped cream.

Unless it is taken into context that even though

one may be in a position of authority OVER

I don't really know. I'm not sure if I'm destined to marry or not- I don't feel like I need to get married or like I need to be single. I do often feel like I was made to be single sense I'm very emotionally independent and not a social gal, but then again, I like to be there for people and support them through good and bad times.

I don't think there's a specific someone because honostly... think about it.... we have scripture on marriage roles and adultary. It goes so far as to desrcibe adultary as just thinking sexual thoughts.... that's a lot of detail to marriage no? I'd think since marriage is so important... you'd think God would had have added a verse or two on... the one. However, I do think we can prayfully ask God for A one.

Case closed...

One of the greatest gifts god has given man is free will. God doesn't control who we marry, we do. But that doesn't mean he won't send someone he would recommend us to marry our way. There are probably many people he would like us to marry. I don't think we have one particular soul-mate though.

I don't really know the answer to this one, I haven't given it that much thought.

I guess my current theory on the matter is that it's different for different people. God is the same, but we vary. We have different temptations, different lessons to learn, different lives to live though at the same time, we do reflect God's unchanging way because though we all face different battles, there is only one way to God. Through Christ.

Sometimes I feel as though God has prepared this one special gift for someone, just waiting to give it to them. While for others, he's given them a variety of gifts, giving them the ability to choose. He values free will, otherwise the forbidden fruit would have never been anywhere Adam and Eve could venture. Sometimes he gives us lots of good choices, and hopes that we'll trust in him and let him choose anyway. (Abraham and Lot)

If you have received prophecy that God has picked one out for you, then God has picked someone out for you. Keep an eye out and make certain you are letting him choose- though- and it may not be the guy you were thinking of at first. And I wouldn't be afraid to say, "God... I love you, but I'm not so sure about this." Because admitting doubt to God can help him reassure you. Keeping it a secret can become a lie against yourself and against Him.

As for what I believe God has in store for me, I'm not sure yet. He's told me it's going to be a complete surprise, and it isn't going to be anything that I've guessed. Which drives me absolutely bananas because I'm a story-teller just like my Father in Heaven, and when someone else is story telling, I always Sherlock Holmes the plot to death. It's why I love Doctor Who. The whole time I'm trying to figure out the mystery before the credits roll. And I like a bit of cheese in my flicks.

Another note- you can ask God for him to pick someone out for you. I mean, he's not a genie nor is he a magic 8 ball, but he does love it when we trust him enough to let him do things for us- but beware, it's not as easy as just chilling in a dream waiting for him to appear. If you are going out on an actual limb and letting God take full control- Satan is going to try and get you to doubt God's wise decision and tempt you to make a bad choice. For example, God may be using you as an example for others on how to like a godly single life for an extremely long period of time. A lot of teens throw virginity out the window because they don't have any good examples that they can see. It's unfortunate, but we really are like sheep. Letting him pick is an act of submission, and I guarantee that at some point, it will feel like submission.
