I have several long skirts like this that I love wearing on Sundays. They are great because they are comfy and modest even when you need to get down on eye-level with a toddler.

I bought two long dresses and one long skirt today and I love them! Can't wait to wear them. I know what you mean about the modesty thing. I never sit on the front row in church when I wear a dress for this concern, but I can with these.
Breathable athletic pants, preferably with no zippers or snaps on the legs. Lounge in 'em, work out in 'em, run errands in 'em, sleep in 'em...pretty everything except go to church or be professional is doable in them.
I'll start off. My favorite piece is my slouchy toque aka hipster beanie (or what I have coined it being is 'Christian toque' on account of the mass amount of Christians that wear them at my old university).
Nothing beats a pair of well worn Levi's 501 Shrink-To-Fit jeans. They were good enough when I wore them as a teenager, they are still good now. Not the same ones though, . . . Or are they . . . No, it's my Underroos that are from that time.
euro hat and brown leather boots . I'm against tyingshoes and boots go on and off quickly and look cool and are solid support for my ankles and sole pain, I sometimes, get wearing my Skechers. I am not talking cowboy boots either. bleh. not me.
I'd like to add, I love peasant skirts on women. I don't wear them myself. I don't really have favourite clothing. As long as it's comfy, keeps me warm cool and doesn't scare away the neighbours, I don't mind what I wear. I don't wear labels and I don't wear frumpy clothing (expect at home etc.) But yes, I have more of an idea about fashion when it concerns other people's clothing. When it comes to my own sense of fashion, I find I have none.
For a minute, I thought I was going to have to hide my peasant skirts... (With you being tall and me being so short, they'd just look like mini-skirts on you anyway! )
