I gotta report that I met a guy named Thor not too long ago! I couldn't believe it but he said his name was Thor. So I said "wow - you know I read your comic books".

He looked at me a second then looked away.

Hahahaaa... I got a notice on eHarmony a while back that someone named Thor wanted to make contact with me. His profile picture was shirtless. I did not respond.

I gotta say Grace...I'm not shocked you picked Thor, but you have to admit...Loki's outfit is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cooler! lol

hellloooooooooooo, have you ever seen the movie, 'Veritgo,' it's got a good whodunit plot, albeit a bit dizzying :D
---------:D

Yes! I have. Great film.

To everyone:

What is something you have always wanted to do or learn, but have not tried yet? What, if anything, is stopping you?

Ballet. My age. I guess I'm never too old to watch!

I do want to try something more athletic, and there are a few adult recreational leagues around here...I want to try ladies soccer in the spring so I'm using this fall/winter to get in shape by running in the mornings.
I am the world's worst long distance runner, but I know I want to try something different...been feeling inspired by having gone to some church league softball games the past few weeks and I've never played a team sport. We'll see where this goes.

*hangs head in shame.................. I think I am seeing a trend here. lol

Shhhhhhhhhhhh Grace...just pay for my Cafe Mocha Latte with extra cocoa shavings & I won't tell anyone about how you were wearing Thor's armour when he was asleep last night.

Maybe he couldn't afford a T-shirt. Or maybe he gave the shirt off his back to someone else? (very biblical!)

KJVJOhn1511: Is Andrew Luck going to supercede Peyton Manning someday as......the best QB all-time? How many years until you think people will consider Peyton as the greatest QB ever? Will he still be playing QB? Or, do you think Peyton already is considered the best QB of all time in NFL football?

Well, GreenAtTwiceIsNiceWhenSurroundedByCoffeeHousesOnEveryCorner,

I haven't seen much of Andrew Luck, but I'll see him in action next Sunday night against Denver so I'll answer that later.

If Peyton wins a Super Bowl in the next few years, I see Elway convincing him to stay at least another year for back to back Super Bowl wins. Shanahan convinced Elway to wait and he retired with two Super Bowl wins at the end. It's every players dream to retire on top. If Peyton does, especially after neck surgery and switching teams, not to mention numerous records, he would solidify the greatest QB ever.

You have to have both QB stat records and Super Bowl wins to secure Hall of Fame status. Marino had all the records, but has drifted into obscurity due to the lack of rings. Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, and Tom Brady have the rings, but very few if any records.

Something I just learned today. Russell Wilson used to play baseball for the Colorado Rockies.

Now Mr. GreenEggsNHam, do you think that Shaun Alexander was treated fairly by your mighty Osprey at the end of his career?

Did you mean The Pianist? If so, then I love that movie -- it moved me and broke my heart the way that Schindler's List did. I haven't seen the Piano, so if you meant that one, then I would pick the Gerard Depardieu version of Les Miserables.
My all time favorite movie...its so hard to pick, I love so many films. For now, I'll say it's The Wiz.

What best advice would you give someone who is single now, having come from a marriage? :)

Green - I'd say concentrate on the good parts of being single. There are lots of good parts. If you aren't content now, the likelihood of you being content as a married person is even slimmer. Contentment comes from the inside, not so much from circumstances.

gracey: did you take art in college?

I did not go to college. Mommyhood was calling. :) I have gone to several conferences for entertainers and face/body artists though, and learned valuable painting techniques.

I could never do stand-up comedy or anything like that...because people would be looking at me. Yeah...I try to stay kind of invisible, in my day to day life. Standing on a stage all by myself would sort of be counter-productive to that.

I was born in CO, and then lived in Minnesota for a few years when I was...3-6 ish. Back to CO til I did my stupid get-married-at-17-trick when I lived in NC for about 6 months. I've lived in various parts of CO since I came back from NC. So...I've pretty much been here my whole life :)
