That is certainly commanded of us also.
Also? What exactly do you mean by also? Not the law of Moses (I'm presuming from your earlier posts)?

1 John 3

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
i believe the Messiah Teaches us to Keep the Commandments of GOD.

He states even to the least.. if the Sabbath rest was not to be Kept then why did He speak these things to us?

He was talking about loving God, and loving our neighbour.

If the Sabbath rest must be kept, then why not the rest of the law of Moses, including circumcision, which you just agreed is not required?

Yeshua teaches to obey the commandments, He also mentioned the two great laws of love. I paste the latter here below from the Word. Note these laws are in the midst of other laws, all full of good and wisdom. While you are reading, please note all those laws that are bad?? I do not see one. Of course these are telling us how to please the Father and not just ourselves. Hypocrisy is never a virtue.

Lev 19:13
Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

Lev 19:14
Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.

Lev 19:15
Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Lev 19:16
Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.

Lev 19:17
Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

Lev 19:18
Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Deu 6:5
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deu 6:6
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Deu 6:7
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Yeshua taught to obey Yahweh by His own example. No one is legalistic by obeying the Father; that notion is from the enemy.

If people are afraid of the good commandments because of the law, they have nothing to fear providing they believe they are saved by the Blood of Yeshua, Jesus, for the sting of law, that is death, was crucified with Yeshua, and now, when we should sin, the law no longer has its sting. All anyone need do is follow the Example of Yeshua.

I tell you anyone who intentionally practices anything that Yeshua would not do in His life time in order to save us all is walking on His great and wonderful sacrifice. That person is blaspheming. Believe Yahweh, and if you love Him, obeying Him is a joy, especially knowing we are forgiven past and future transgressions for blessed is the man against whom Yahweh does not impute sin. Psalm 32.

Do not teach against obeying God. Too many with itching ears already have this type of religion, and I know our faith does not come without tribulation in this age. We need not fear that tribulation because our Lord, Yeshua, has overcome the world. We will suffer, if it is Yahweh's will, for His name's sake. Praise Yahweh, amen.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

If you find yourself in sin, please REPENT!!!!!

You see in Jandian's share of his knowledge from the `Word how the man who endures temptation is rewarded? And what is enduring temptation other than obeying the will of the Father over the will of the flesh, and this is obedience. The desire that entices is against the laws of Yahweh, thus we obey Him. You know this if you understand the Word.

Do not teach people to yield to temptations for yielding is breaking the commands of Yahweh. Teach people to obey the Father. Disobedience is idolatry to Him.........

If it is wrong to teach that we should obey Elohim when we believe Yeshua, I stand accused and condemned, but only by Satan. I will always teach to obey God.

The law no longer has its sting, death, therefore there is no need to fear not being perfect. We live in grace, but grace is not to be perverted in teachings to be disobedient. No man can change this eternal truth.

Obey God. If you see this as legalistic, and you also say you are not blind, your guilt remains according to what I understand from Yeshua.

I started this thread for all to see who starts the arguments. We all can see who these people are now. Why do these few do this? Is it because of a deep-seated fear of the truth of the law? Is it because of a right out and out hatred of the law? Or is it a disdain for what they assume is corrupt? Is it because these people are trying to save others from self-righteousness because of what they believe? Could it be that they fail to understand what Paul meant when he said that He became like some so some could be saved? If that final question is affirmative, then I would ask all of you anti-Judaizers, and anti-legalizers to use Paul’s format to save us all from the law by becoming like us. That means you need to use the law to save us if you are sincere by wanting to save us from eternal death.

We also see principles in Mosaic Law teaching that if we fail to guard the lives of others, we are guilty. In Deuteronomy 22:8, if someone falls from your roof, and you failed to install a safety fence around the edge, you would be held liable for the death of that person.

Now turning to the truth of the matter. Jesus had a problem with the Pharisees and the scribes of a distorted law, and not the truth of what God had ordained in the first place. Jesus was born under the law and rightly defined the law according to the truth in its original form. That’s the problem that the hypocrites had with Jesus. When Jesus said that His witness was not true by Himself that was truth. So He said that whatever he did was witnessed by His Father, and that was truth. So are we to say that what God has given, and preserved for us in writing is not truth? God forbid! So why the rejection? Is it because of the same kind of pharisaical hypocrisy that attacked Jesus?

Matthew 23:23-28 (KJV)
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
How are we supposed to bring the lost to Christ, by contention, or by His instructions? Or do those of you that start continuous arguments actually think that the people you’re accusing of being under he law are truly saved?

Final thought.
We used to be known as a “Christian Nation.”
We voted people into office that portrayed moral Christian values according to the Mosaic Law.
Our neighborhoods were cohesive in like principles of morality.
When the church started teaching doctrines against the Law of God, we started our downhill spiral.
The law is good if it is used in a lawful way.
What is the problem in seeing the example of Israel in the Word of God?

Yes, it’s history, but the law of God sure tells us how God makes things work for a nation, and how things don’t work. Go ahead and deny that and see if God doesn’t hammer the United States the same way He did Israel.

Aw now. You know this is not true. All you really did is show yet again anyone who does not believe as you do, according to you. Hates the law (not true) Does not understand the law (not true) or is against the law (again not true)

The second this you has done is prove that it is you who starts these arguments. You knew perfectly well starting this thread would start the SAME arguments which have already been discussed and seen in other threads.

Your the one who started it. So why do you blame everyone who does not agree with you. then attack them by making false claims against them??

Or....YOU are the goat they are trying to "get"!
Ya that's it, that's it.
It's time to sacrifice the goat.
The goat has been gotten.
It's under the skin, ya know, like the kidneys, and the caul, and the fat thing ya know?

Leviticus 3:12-15 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

Leviticus 3:12-16 (KJV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD'S.

Leviticus 23:19-20 (KJV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

The fat fuels the fire, the kidneys separates the food that is ingested, and the caul stores a bitter liquid called bile that aids in digestion. The intake of food, from values obtained, are baptized with fire.

This is where it's at

Romans 12:1-3 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

If I wanted argument, I would have named the thread "refute the Mosaic Law as old wine skins." Or something relevant to that. There are other threads likened unto that started recently.

lol. your so tricky.

You posted why the law causes contention. and you expected peacefull conversation?

You still proved something. people are giving you reasons why it causes contention. and you are still judging them.

same argument. same result..
