No black out today and it's Nov 13th. If there's going to be a blackout why wouldn't the news carry this?

We went 11 days without electric here in Kentucky with an ice storm. We had no problems with food or water or heat. We burn wood for heat, water purifier. Our pipes did freeze. Food in abundance. Those who could not go that many days without heat because they use electric moved in with people who systems had been restored.
I believe roboop is still without electric or power for his computer from the typhoon I don't think he has been on web page for several days. I've never been sorry that we are prepared in part for storms, or job loss or financial strain.

I think that is the ice storm we had when we bought our generator. It has been a blessing to have in the ohio weather, although we had a mild winter last year. We always have plenty of food to last for weeks if need be. I think the hardest part is keeping the the kids entertained....books and board games only last for so long lol
Sadly, we are not experiencing any black outs in Canada, either. So I presume that means the end of the world is not nigh!
And yes, still praying for RoboOp. He certainly has not been seen by me. I hope he gets services restored soon.

Drove by a homeless guy blacked out on a bus-stop bench this afternoon.

My computer blacked out and then I realized it was the battery. I believe the drills just went on as planned. Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me.
As far as the typhoon issue I looked at the box that people can donate to. They are really nice. I forget what their called at this moment. I saw it on one of the threads. They have everything needed to get a family back on their feet. Check them out.

Exactly. It was only a drill. I already know how to prepare for a power outage. That's easy. I live in the south where people like to panic just with 5% chance of ice or snow.

whatever you do just stay in your shelter and dont open the door,,stretch out the food and water as far as you can. me or someone else will contact you and tell you when it's safe to come out,,,,
