Why is rape ok but homosexual love not?
See post #334. Love is to show others how not to continue that which separates them, or us from the Father who gives eternal life through Christ. If a person is separated from God, there can be no forgiveness of sins. It's been that way from the beginning, and nothing has changed. Rape isn't right either. If the subject screams for help, they are
innocent.
Deuteronomy 22:25-27 (KJV)
[SUP]
25 [/SUP]But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:
[SUP]
26 [/SUP]But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing;
there is in the damsel no sin
worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so
is this matter:
[SUP]
27 [/SUP]For he found her in the field,
and the betrothed damsel cried, and
there was none to save her.
Luke 13:24-28 (KJV)
[SUP]
24 [/SUP]Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
[SUP]
25 [/SUP]When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
[SUP]
26 [/SUP]Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
[SUP]
27 [/SUP]But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all
ye workers of iniquity.
[SUP]
28 [/SUP]There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you
yourselves thrust out.
God's love is a true love that hates the sin which puts a wall between the unrepentant person and Christ Jesus. If we are to love our neighbor as ourselves, we would never want others to stand by with an attitude of accepting what God has not created, and thinking God will forgive the sin while we are still
committing transgressions.
Mark 9:42-48 (KJV)
[SUP]
42 [/SUP]And whosoever shall offend one of
these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
[SUP]
43 [/SUP]And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
[SUP]
44 [/SUP]Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
[SUP]
45 [/SUP]And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
[SUP]
46 [/SUP]Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
[SUP]
47 [/SUP]And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
[SUP]
48 [/SUP]Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
