UMMM you also have a conundrum. The Sabbath CAN NOT end in the morning, the Sabbath ends in the EVENING The Bible plainly says they came in the morning which means if it was the Sabbath,it was in the MIDDLE of the Sabbath, and they were breaking the Sabbath by bringing spices to do WORK,yet Luke is very clear they OBSERVED the Sabbath according to their customs. And dawn in the Bible stills means dawn, morning not evening.
Joh 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
Joh 20:2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
Still dark and Christ was already gone! Of course He was gone, He was resurrected exactly three days and three nights from Passover (Wednesday) evening, just as He said He would be...
Mat 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
Mat 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Mat 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
In fact, if He was not raised at/about sunset Sabbath afternoon, just as He said He would be, the ONLY proof He gave that He was the Messiah, is false.
