When Jesus came the first time, the Jews, by in large, rejected him and a remnant believed, which Paul identified with. That is simply to understand. The Jews were dispersed when the temple was destroyed and have been up to the present time for the most part. Many have gathered under certain banners from around the world and have taken up residency in Israel, which they consider to be their homeland, while others are still dispersed and probably are content to be so. I don't think we have a problem with that. The gospel of Christ and him crucified is the gospel being preached today and the only means whereby men can be saved and forgiven of sin, including the Jew. No problem with that, I hope.

And what do you all do about these things

Will Christ reign for 1,000 Years?

Second, the Scriptures precluded an earthly reign! The Scriptures not only do not promise an earthly reign, they teach that Christ will not reign on the earth. Consider the following:(1) God decreed that no descendant of Coniah (Jeconiah or jehoichin) "shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah" (Jer. 22:28-30). Since Jesus is a descendant of Jeconiah through Salathiel (Matt. 1:12; Lk. 3:27), His throne must therefore be somewhere other than Judah, or His kingdom will fail. This excludes an earthly reign of Christ from Jerusalem.(2) According to prophecy, the Branch of David (Jer. 33:15-18) would be "a priest upon his throne" (Zech. 6:12=13). Jesus is the Branch of David (Rev. 5:5; 22:16) arid a priest upon His throne (Heb. 6:20; 7:1), yet He cannot be a priest on earth (Heb. 8:4). Therefore, His reign as King cannot be on the earth!(3) The Jews readily admitted that Christ would be "The son of David" (Matt. 22:42). So, Jesus cast them a dilemma. "How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till 1 make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his Son?" (Matt. 22:43-45; cf. Psa. 110:1). The Jews could not answer because they did not understand the true nature of the kingdom. Yet Peter explained its meaning on Pentecost (30 A.D.) when he said that Jesus was raised from the dead to sit on David's throne at the right hand of God where He rules as Lord and Christ (Acts 2:29-36). David, Jesus and Peter understood that the reign of Christ would be in heaven at God's right hand. Since Jesus is to reign at the right hand of God till the end (1 Cor. 15:24-26), there can be no earthly reign of Christ!

Did you even read what it says? By what the Bible says it CAN NOT be an earthly kingdom or an earthly priesthood. The Bible says point blank He can not rule from Judah,it closes the door on the earthly Jerusalem. And He is from the tribe of Judah NOT the tribe of Levi.

But you have a conundrum,a temporary land IS NOT EVERLASTING or ETERNAL. Even the Old testament says that this earth WILL be destroyed. They understood that. They understood what the promise is POINTING to. The everlasting promise is the HEAVENLY city, the heavenly land, not that tract of land in the Middle East. What has been done is that the promise has been cheapened up to a temporal land, not the eternal.
Actually, I have not introduced anything "temporal" - I said - they have not inherited the land promised them - YET . . .
"they sought a country to call their own - but not receiving the promises while alive and on earth - they now have a city to look forward to that God has prepared for them . . . . not here, not yet

So. . . .
what I said below is true. . . .

The one God gave Abram in Genesis 17:8 in connection with the Land? And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; . . . We haven't seen this yet - Israel hasn't received their inheritance for an everlasting possession as yet"

But yes - I do believe that they will literally be given the land promised them - The land was originally divided and distributed by Joshua. These divisions were uneven in size and shape. . .the land divided and distributed in Ezekiel are divided in equal stripes (nothing specified as to width). Bordering Judah - a portion in the midst for a sanctuary for the priest of Zadok; the Levites a portion bordering the priests of Zadok, and in the middle of the southern area, a city with suburbs. . . .And the residue at each side - on the one side and on the other, and of the possession of the city shall be for the prince.

and all this still does not negate nor do I deny the fact that God has prepared a city for them :)

You're still missing it, How can the promise of a TEMPORARY LAND be an eternal everlasting promise? It's an oxymoron.

I haven't missed anything - I said - they have not inherited the land promised them - YET . . .

"
THIS IS WHAT I SAID . . . . ^^^^^^^^^

Then I said that I do believe that they are to literally be given a land to dwell in as their possession but I did not say the temporary and the everlasting were the same - If I did then yes, that would be an oxymoron because temporary and everlasting cannot be the same. The everlasting promise still stands and will be given as promised.

Jeez, am I really that hard to understand? -

But the land of CANAAN IN THE MIDDLE EAST IS A TEMPORARY LAND. It is not everlasting. It will be destroyed and burned up,so how can they have it as an EVERLASTING possession? That is what you keep missing.

I would love to hear Zone and others speak of the Muslims and what they teach in the same manner they do the Jews. Zone has spent many waking hours scouring the Talmud, all of its derivatives and the lifestyle of those who adhere to its precepts, let's hear what she has to say about the Muslims.

This following video is something minor but very radical and to think that I could commit something worse than fornication or killing someone by saying Merry Christmas. If you get the opportunity to see a Muslim teacher before Dec 25, say Merry Christmas and let us know what happens.

Muslims follow a false god - an idol, Islam is an antichrist religion.
all who deny that Jesus is the Christ are antichrist.

including jews in or outside Judaism who reject Jesus.
same with ALL.

you don't like that? too bad.

i don't spend every waking moment scouring the Talmud.
you appear to spend every waking moment obsessing about 'zone'.

..

i have Muslim friends...nobody has ever held a saber over my head when i wish them a Merry Christmas.
they're really quite polite. do i want to live under the (fake/British) tyranny of The House of Saud? no.
when i wish jews a Merry Christmas however, there's a whole other response.

as for radical videos...do i really need to post your mentor Hagee and his friend Benny Hinn praying for murder and mayhem - in da name of JEE- zuz again?

sorry you're trapped in Scofieldism.

Red, this is typical of Israel-firster so-called christian zionists.
when they can't defend the ludicrous Israel/church distinction...they play the Muslim card.

like that has anything to with it.

nobody is confused as to whether Muslims are the Israel of God.

some are very confused about who is the Israel of God, however.

UMMM You do realize that Ezekiel 40-48 makes total sense when one understands that he was to show this to the Israelites during their captivity. Why give it to the Israelites of his day unless God gave them as instructions for when they returned FROM EXILE? It is problematic to force it to be during any time after Jesus death and resurrection. It is in conflict with the New Testament about circumcision, sacrifices for sin and guilt, and the priesthood.

And the division of the land points to when they first entered the promised land. In the same manner God gave the land to them the first time,He would have done so again at that time. There are also in both Nehemiah and Ezra that some of the things that Ezekiel talks about they were trying to do.

It seems to be they were once again being TESTED to see if they would obey Him or not.

Merry Christmas Zone and say hello to your Muslim friends who reject your Savior and on the inside consider you an infidel. Jesus was very clear if they rejected him they would also reject you. If that is not the case then there is something amiss. Don't bring Scofield in on this because he has nothing to do with it like most things. You would rather nail Scofield to the wall then to expose the false religion of the Muslims that send people to hell every single day because of their delusion of a false god, isn't that true. Do you have some kind of sentimental attachment to Muslims that you do not have with the Jews? No one is playing the Muslim card, it was an observation and you don't like being called on it. Did you see the very short video, if so, no comment about this islamic scholar's diatribe? If it had been from a brother in Christ who is a dispensationalist you would be all over it and even made the contention that he was not saved like you have others on this site who are part of God's precious redeemed people, who love the Lord.

Unclefester, what she says about Muslims doesn't touch a cubic centimeter of the bottom of the 55 gal. drum that Zone has filled up on this site with her illustrious career exposing Judiasm. She has some kind of attachment to the Islamic faith and to Allah and stays clear of bringing any offense to what they believe and practice here and throughout the world. If Islam has their radicals let her expose them and what they teach with the same tenacity and intensity she does with Judaism. If she refuses to do so then she is fraudulent in her practice of exposing the unfruitful works of darkness. Is not the islamic faith a work of darkness and false religion. Are you also going to accuse me of playing the Muslim card and reveal your own fraudulent heart on this matter?

One very important distinction. There has yet to be one post by any born-again believer on CC stating that some Muslims (unbelievers) can and will be saved after they have seen the risen Christ descend from above. Dispensationalist's must make this claim regarding today's Jews and earthly Israel in order to make their belief system jive. Either there is the Jew separate ... and then the Gentile ... or there isn't (dual covenant ??) ? And we already know what the scriptures say regarding this, no ? "There is neither Jew nor Greek in Christ ... i.e. ... the "mystery of the gospel" ? Who won't believe in Christ after seeing him descend ? Does that make any sense to you at all ? Seriously ... take a minute to ponder that. Faith in Christ is required of all while on this earthly sojourn. I am thinking you already know this deep down in your heart. Do you ? There is no imputed righteousness (by grace thru faith) to any who don't believe .... Jew nor Gentile. So who is doing a dishonour to whom by stating otherwise ? The irony (sad irony, that is) is that the very ones who you accuse of "hating the Jews" have immediate family with Jewish blood. Personally, I have three nieces as such of whom at least one is a Christian. Are the other two "covered" if they happen to live until Christ's return before His "earthly millennium" ? Or is their blood not pure enough ? Are only those living in today's nation of Israel safe in this regard ? Tell me so I can tell them .... what's the deal ??

It is very simple unclefester but you have to take this dispensational veil away from your face. When Christ comes every eye shall see him and those who have pierced him and when they see him (including those nail prints in his feet and hands) they will recognize him and repent of their unbelief. They will mourn and be grieved at their heart as to how they have treated the Son of God. This is when God will forgive them and deliver them when they recognize Christ, the Son of the living God at his coming. They refused him at his first coming but will receive him at his second coming which will be unto salvation. The children of Israel will be ready to receive him at his second coming. Is there salvation for them in any other, NO!!!!!!!!!!!! There salvation will rest in Christ and him alone. If you and others refuse to believe that it becomes your problem of unbelief. Has the veil of dispensation been lifted or will you continue to read the scriptures with that bent?
