I am not joking or exaggerating when I say that Yoga X was the hardest workout in the P90X series. Mad props to anyone who can do it. I could do Legs and Back all day, but if I had to spend ONE MORE SECOND in Warrior One pose...it felt like being continually stabbed all over my quadriceps with hypodermic needles.

I've a lawyer friend who's been doing yoga for years (just for the physical benefits, she doesn't buy into the spiritual stuff of it), and she tried it and said it was the most intense yoga workout she'd ever done.

Yeah, Boflex seems very ideal, especially since it's an all-in-one gym in your own home. My mom wants that 'Tread-climber' they have lol. In my opinion it does look better than a treadmill.
I agree. Far more functional.

My son is about your age. Weight training and a great punching bag work great for him re: upper body. He left the bag hanging in my barn and I've been using it for kickboxing since it's too cold too run right now. :) I have asthma and the cold air really hurts my lungs. :(

Well then, I won't be trying it. Ever. Lol.

That bag and a little kickboxing with this song relieve my daily stress :)

Yeah, I heard yoga in general is kind of weird lol. Some people say it's similar to a religion. I dunno.

I've heard good things about 'Insanity', and i've heard mixed reviews about Boflex.
I do Insanity, at a center with a live instructor, and now that I'm not feeling nauseous and nearly-dead after each session, I'm actually enjoying it. I do a lot of other cardio, but this is actually really toning me up.

Yeah I heard it's tough lol. I've seen some of the commercials too, and those people are drenched with sweat... :D Even though it's a hard workout, they all seem to love their results.

I rarely sweat, but I am soaked when I leave Insanity. I've been doing Zumba (dance cardio) for about a year and my endurance has improved, and lots of calories burned, but I didn't really start seeing major toning until I started Insanity. I have to do it with a group though because otherwise I wimp out. :p

Cool, cuz if it does, Im gonna, well I'll think of somethin
But thats why I prefer working out in the water
Cuz you never can tell if you're sweating
Or does a person actually sweat if they're in the water.
Its a quandary
I've always wondered that, but it seems like you can work much harder for longer

Swimming is a great form of exercise. I was considering that myself; a coworker of my mom's swims and he's very in shape for his age. He's in his 50s I think.

Agreed agreed, one of the best...you wanna burn fat, jump in some cold water until hypothermia sets in, revive yourself, rinse and repeat :D
No wait, maybe I shouldn't have said that...never mind

Zumba classes are a lot of fun, Grace! Water Zumba in the Summer is fun too. Fantastic stress reliever! :D
Better than a massage for sore muscles I think.

I love zumba! I love latin dance anyway so for me zumba is incredibly enjoyable. ^_^ The music makes me happy, too, hahaha
