For Sabbath keepers, How does obedience to the Sabbath affect your Salvation?

I get a kick out of people who are advocating the Mosaic Law, and the ones who negate the Mosaic Law. The law people are adamant that Jesus rose on the Sabbath day which wold have profaned the Sabbath, which would not complete 3 days and three nights in the tomb. There seems to be a contradiction in the Bible about that, but then we must rightly divide the Word of truth.

Can you show me why a burial just before sunset on Wednesday with a resurrection just before sunset on Saturday is NOT three days and three nights? This is pretty basic math. Three days = 12 * 3 = 36 hours. Three nights = 3 * 12 = 36 hours. Ad them up and one gets 72 hours. When is 72 hours after just before sunset on Wenesday?

Sabbath means seventh. I like Galatians 5:1-4, and you will like to know that Jesus taught the Old Testament truth clear up until he said "It is finished." You might also like to know that Jesus ripped the Pharisees for not believing Moses' writings.

Sabbath=seven, or the completion of the week. First means number one, or the beginning of the week. Sunday, as we know it, is the first day of the week, not the last.

Now is this all there is? Just twelve hours? What about night?

Jesus here shows that there are twelve hours in the daylight portion and then there is night. How many hours are there from sunset to sunset? There are 24 hours so three days and three nights is 72 hours.

The question, or misunderstanding can be resolved by believing one of two things. Did Jesus raise from the dead in the light of the sun, or was His resurrection during the time of darkness? I think He was resurrected at night, you say He was resurrected before it was dark still being that last part of day three. Believe it if you would like to.

All I'm seeing from different sides, (excluding myself) claiming that Jesus rose on the Sabbath. One side says it's Saturday, and the other side argues that it's Sunday claiming one or the other of these days as the Sabbath day. Sunday isn't the Sabbath. Again, I say that nightfall is the beginning of the next day. Under that concept, that's the way scripture is written. The beginning of darkness is counted as the beginning of the next day. Jesus rose on the first day of the week while it was yet dark.

That's correct the fourth day is when He rose.

According to Exodus the lamb was slaughtered on the 14th, not the day before. The 10th day correlates with Jesus entering Jerusalem on a colt. As it reads, the colt's mother was also there, by the way. According to Exodus 12, the lamb was secured on the 10th day. We all know that Jesus followed suit with this timeline.

I don't see a difference between sundown and evening. So according to Exodus 12:12-13 (KJV) was the Passover before the lamb was killed, or was it at night following the 14th?

We all know He died at 3PM. So does that mean that He died on Passover in difference to when God passed over at night recorded in Exodus? God didn't pass over during the daylight hours.

The passover lamb was killed in the daylight hours of the 14th. It was eaten that same evening; whether it was light or dark outside seems to be pretty irrelevant. The only requirement was that nothing of it could remain by sunrise.

Why would Jesus say that is the only sign ? this debate have made me look at this verse more closely

Can it also mean beginning of evening. Like the Dawn of the evening approaches. Dawn everywhere I look up means beginning. The reason I asked is because. I'm trying to prove to a friend that Dawn can mean more than just Sunrise but in fact it can mean sunset as well. I get this Idea from 1600 century English from a verse in the

King James Bible Matt. Chapter 28 Verse 1. In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn (toward the first day of the week), came Mary Magdaline and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

The context of the verse seems that dawn is referring to the beginning of the night.

Because part one of the verse (end of the Sabbath) would mean Saturday afternoon approaching Evening. The 3rd part of the verse says. (Toward the first day of the week) Also referring to coming into the Evening of 6PM Saturday night starting the new week of Sunday or first day.
