If one doesn't count the days right, they cannot comprehend the beauty to behold, knowing that Pentecost, and the thunder and lightening from God at Mount Sinai were both on the 3rd day of the 3rd month.
Exodus 19:1 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
Exodus 19:16 (KJV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
Exodus 24:4 (KJV)
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, (the next day, the 4th day) and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
Exodus 24:12 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
Now the first commandments given were moral commandments to be kept by the people including the 10 commandments given at the same time. The tablets of stone were instructions for sacrifice and construction of the temple. Therefore the 10 commandments were not written on stones, they were written by Moses according to what he heard from God.
John 4:22-24 (KJV)
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
2 Corinthians 3:1-5 (KJV)
[SUP]1 [/SUP]Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
