I don't care about ugly... but my real name, no. I don't really find jokes about it funny either. I've yet to understand why people would think its funny to joke about something i say i don't like.

The weirdest nickname I ever had was Rose Da Nose.
I'm not famous for being nosy or anything. It only stuck because of the rhyme.

well crimson if your in Yorkshire or Newcastle pet is a perm for a woman they say ello pet so would that be classed as a pet name ?
now of someone called me darling id be a bit weirded out but if it was someone id known for ages then yeah pet names are ok :)

Yikes. Too little sleep and too many people around me going to doctors for various ailments.

That's depends on the mood we hear it sounding.

I had two rotties and I named one "Josh" and the other "Eli", after my two sons, Joshua and Elisha.

I'm happy my dead daughter never knew I gave them her name (She was Josheli) :eek:
