Your wrong! The Feast year of the Lord, (which began at Passover 30ad); was completely fulfilled in that same year. The major Feast of Passover was fulfilled at Passover; The Feast of Pentecost was fulfilled at the Feast of Pentecost! in the same feast year of 30ad! The major Feast Day of Atonement was fulfilled in 30ad in heaven in the same Feast Year of the Lord; of Jesus' Crucifixion! ,,,,

At the preaching of the Gospel this is referred to as the acceptable year of the Lord;
in other words, this is what God accepts, the fulfilling of this Feast Year!
It cannot be separated from the year it began, with Jesus' Crucifixion!

Yet another poison of Dispensationalism,
of tampering with Scripture!
many blessings

First of all, it wasn't 30AD. Passover was not on Wednesday that year.

why do you lie this way?:)

ignore everything before the resurrection? why lie Redtent?
don't you have a better argument against Jesus being the Focus and Fulfilment of everything than that?
let's start at Genesis.
ten thousandth request of YOU.
yet you don't.

it does? document that would ya?

is that what it means here?

Matthew 2:15
where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."

Matthew 2
17Then what had been spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: 18"A VOICE WAS HEARD IN RAMAH, WEEPING AND GREAT MOURNING, RACHEL WEEPING FOR HER CHILDREN; AND SHE REFUSED TO BE COMFORTED, BECAUSE THEY WERE NO MORE."

Matthew 4
14This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: 15"THE LAND OF ZEBULUN AND THE LAND OF NAPHTALI, BY THE WAY OF THE SEA, BEYOND THE JORDAN, GALILEE OF THE GENTILES-

etc etc....

see the CAPS RedTent?
that means they were quoting the OT....i usually go to the OT chapter to read it.
do you EVER read the NT?

we'll see i guess.
If I am tell lies about your posts, I certainly do not mean to. I know what it feels like as you lie about what I say, I would not want to do it to you.

If you mean something different when you go on about the word "fulfilled", and it means to you something different than how I am reporting it, please explain your position better for that is how I have read your posts. It wouldn't be just for me, others do, too.

Even in this posts, you are quoting scripture to mean that fulfilled means if we listen to prophecies about the coming of Christ, if we understand that atonement before the resurrection using blood was a shadow of Christ and respect that, if we learn of anything that God did to prepare for Christ and learn from it we are denying the power of Christ. I truly have read how you think of the shadow God used, and sneer at it as an example of how you feel about the OT. Are you saying that I am wrong about what your meaning is in your posts?

You even sneer at me, saying my view of Christ as the Savior of the world is not right because I see the OT as valid explanations of Christ. You must be basing that judgment of me on this, for my posts are full of Christ and His completed power. Yet you sneer and judge.

Zone, why don't you just leave this thread instead of spewing your accusations and spreading disharmony?

Good Idea. I'm looking for answers and I can't get any if people are spending time arguing about things that never will be reconciled. I just wish just one time that people could talk about the law and the Old Testament without others showing their you know what and messing things up.

Yes, it was 30ad, but that's not the point, is it John?
The Feast year of the Lord is the point, being all in the same year.

And Zone is making a legitimate argument!
The sacrifices for the Temple you are using, the Prophet in question says they are for sin!
It doesn't matter what you say their for in your millennium theory.

Harumph!!! I"m leaving. If anybody has a loving heart to help me understand, as I have mentioned before, just PM me and that will really make me feel good. I AM SICK OF THIS GOING ROUND AND ROUND knowing that everybody who does that knows beyond a shadow of a doubt those that they argue with will never listen to you. Either ignore or just go somewhere else to do what is proper to teach and edify something that means something. Good grief!!!

All in one year huh?

Lev 23:14 You shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Lev 23:21 And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you. You shall do no customary work on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

Lev 23:31 You shall do no manner of work; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Lev 23:41 You shall keep it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

Now since the LORD of the Old Testament is the One who became known as Jesus Christ, He must have surely known how this would turn out. Why didn't He say something like "until the Messiah comes" or "until I fulfill this" or even "until someone fulfills this"? Why did He say "It shall be a statute forever in your generations"? That means continually forever.

As far as the 30AD stuff, you apparently can count three days and three nights from Friday sunset to Sunday morning before daylight, huh?

It's talking about the generations of Old Covenant Israel, until their Messiah comes to fulfill them! ie The Feasts of the Lord.
You do understand that these feasts were pointing towards their Messiah, and there being fulfilled, right?
And Jesus fulfilling them, takes care of the forever part.

Yey!!! I have a brother that agrees with me. PM me and I will start. This thread and all others like it concerning the Mosaic Law will never amount to anything. Now I will expound because I am frustrated with those who disrupt edification.

There are people that believe it their duty to mess up conversation about the Mosaic Law because it’s so wrong since Jesus gave His life for church unity and salvation thereof. I can understand this, but it certainly ain’t right!!! What I cannot understand is why there is reciprocation to complete the adversary’s purpose. I have seen months of “going nowhere.” Is it really that enjoyable, or can it be stopped by those that assist it in just paying no attention to the agitators? Your choice. Just think about what God thinks of you.

And you know that by osmosis? Where does it say that?

John where do you learn the Scriptures?

Old Covenant Israel was abolished in 70ad, they do not exist on the earth any more!
Have you ever told someone you'd love them forever?
Forever meant from then until their Messiah was made known to them.
Old Covenant Israel's forever; was the Old way in Adam, it's all they ever knew.
It's the symbolic language of the Prophets.

Just as I thought, you have no scriptural backing, it is what YOU think it says.

Carry on John, and believe what ever you will!
But thinks for chippen in!

My post here was concerning the Feast Year of the Lord,
being fulfilled by Messiah, all in the same feast Year.
Just like the types and shadow of it was fulfilled each year by Ancient Israel.

There are no fall feasts cast into the gap theory future.
many blessings

And you may take your Preterist beliefs and expound them in other threads, but this thread is not conducive to your contrivances.

Thanks John, them are some big word your using!

Actually the time line of the Feast Year of the Lord in not a Preterist anything!!!

Jesus died at Passover right? What kind of problem do you have with that?
Jesus is the Passover Lamb; the Lamb of God!!
Jesus fulfilled Passover and began the Feast Year of the Lord!

I'm just adding to the thread; if these feasts were never broken up in the Old Testament,
and always celebrated in the same feast year:
This is a type and shadow of that which was to be fulfilled!

I'm shattered John that you feel that way?!
many blessings

Did He return that year? How about it, did the world become at one with God that year? Did the Millenium come and go that year? What about the GWTJ? All of this completed in that year?

OK now I really want to know about the feast of weeks. We we start counting it 7 weeks after Passover, and then count 7 weeks after that? That never made sense to me. I always thought that the 7 week count began the day after the Sabbath that followed the killing of the lamb. HELP!!!!
All the feasts are based on the Hebrew Civil Calendar, or the lunar calendar. So the date in our calendar has to be checked with the lunar calendar each year to find our corresponding date of a feast.

Pentecost is counted from the Feast of First Fruits, or Bikkurim. It is the day that Christ arose.

You must have me confused with someone else, I have never spoken in cc about the Millenium,
and I'm at a loss of what GWTJ means?

are you mad at somebody John?
it sounds like you are anyway?!

The Major Feast of Passover, Jesus died on the Cross and was resurrected!

The Major Feast of Pentecost, The New Covenant Church began, Spirit of God given unto men!

The Major Feast Day of Atonement, High Priest; Jesus, Cleanses, Holy of Holies, where God dwells in heaven!

This is what I was talking about, but you already knew that.

When posters try to tie men's ideas about the millennium, or saying how they KNOW all about how God will handle the last days, they are adding to scripture, not talking about feasts. No one can even be positive about what scripture means by the seven weeks spoken of in Daniel. Biblical scholars tried to do this before Christ came, and look what a mess they made of it!

We can learn about last days from the feasts, but not about time frames or things that are not given to us directly by scripture.

RedTent, don't know if your directing this at me or just in general.
But the Word of God is very specific about Daniel's 70 weeks,
and the Feast's of the Lord are very structured in the Old Testament!
God's blessings in your studies
