prove to me in now in the new testament that we have to follow the 10 commandments 2 Corinthians 3:14

King James Version (KJV)

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

i give you all millions of scriptures proving what i say, all you do is reject it and run away clueless prove me by the scriptures. that WE MUST FOLLOW THE 10 COMMANDMENTS, why would we when God fulfills it in us by his spirit... your making a mockery of the grace of God
Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

The veil is taken away so people can see the truth. The veil is not the law. If you're blind, the veil has not been taken away.

The 10 Commandments are classified as "ten words" or "ten sayings" of God via the Hebrew in which it was written. They are all written in Exodus chapters 20 thru 23. The "Ten Commandments" are only the beginning the beginning of these ten things. Read for yourself. Moses wrote them down before he was called up to the mountain to receive the stone tablets. It seems as though there might be a controversy over something that never happened, or at least, isn't relevant to the truth from either side.

Josh, we do not and cannot replace grace with keeping the commandments. We keep the commandments because we are saved. I see all the scriptures of the Word that plainly say love God, love keeping His commandments for Him. But to no avail does it seem to help the scales fall off why this is so.

Go back through the NT and find the gospel message of the Kingdom of God and you will find the very reason why a Kingdom must have a King/Leader, Subjects, Land, and Laws. There is no government on earth that does not have those 4 elements. As you read Christ's words about His message of the gospel (Good News of the coming One World Government ruled by the King of kings and Lord of lords) perhaps you will then understand that the gospel about Christ and His grace is only half of the story. There is much more. So as babes, yes we receive grace, but as we mature, our love for God and how we express that love also matures.

We all love Paul and his teachings. So let me close with these verses.

Act 28:30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
Act 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Paul says:

Rom 15:19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached [SUP](G4137) [/SUP]the gospel of Christ.(Please NOTE: Not the gospel "about" Christ, but the gospel "of" Christ, of which that gospel of Christ was about the coming KINGDOM OF GOD/HEAVEN on Earth.)

"fully preached" = pleroo = G4137
πληρόω
plēroō
play-ro'-o
From G4134; to make replete, that is, (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figuratively) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.: - accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply.

Jesus says:

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. [SUP](G4137 = pleroo=FULLY PREACH)[/SUP]

Did Jesus come to fully preach that which was of the law and prophets?

Eze 37:12-23 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

Eph 2:13-17 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

THE TWO KINGDOMS, SPLIT AND EACH TAKEN INTO CAPTIVITY FOR DISOBEYING THE COMMANDMENTS AND BREAKING THE COVENANT. THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL WAS DIVORCED FROM GOD (Jer 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.) AND THROUGH CHRIST'S DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION THEY (LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL) CAN BE FOUND AND REUNITED. THUS A NEW COVENANT IN THE MAKING!!

For over 1900 years, the gospel message of the Kingdom of God has not been preached by the church in large part. But now we are in the Last Days ...

Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

So well thought; your post gave me chills, pleasant chills. Wonderful, marvelous, Yeshua is to me, and so it goes with those who make up His Body here in this age. Thank you for shining so brightly in the Love that is Yeshua...

The veil had to be removed from even the Apostles eyes...

Luk 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

You will try anything to do away with the sabbath and your lack of knowledge or ignorance shows.

Exodus 31:18 KJV
(18) And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Deuteronomy 31:24 KJV
(24) And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,

Here it is before you. The 10 commandments were written by God while Moses wrote other laws.
If you're saying that Moses is the author of the laws he gave to the people, you do not know your Bible.

Seems some concepts are difficult, including the idea that
to God a short period of time can seem
long to us.
And how is that relevant to the Sinaitic (Old) Covenant being made obsolete in Heb 8:13?

Are you saying the Sinaitic Covenant is still in effect,
the people of God are still under the Law with its curse
(there can be no Mosaic Law without its inseparable curse, Gal 3:10),
that the people of God have not been redeemed from the curse of the law (Gal 3:13),
are still under the law of Moses, and not under the law of Christ (1Co 9:21), which is Mt 22:37-39,
which fulfills (performs) the whole law (Mt2 2:40; Ro 13:18; Gal 5:6),
but with no curse attached (Dt 27:26; Gal 3:10) for imperfect obedience (Ro 8:1)?

Go and learn what the apostolic letters of the NT mean.

Josh123 i'm not here to prove nothing, i'm here to share, and as for running i don't run from nothing, notice the armor protects the front, for us to stand firm head on, nothing to protect our back in armor, because God does not want us running, we are to take our swords head on.

17things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. Col. 2

You have a little problem with timing trying to apply Col 2:16-17 here. This was written twenty some years AFTER you supposed fulfillment of all this and it is still FUTURE TENSE! It is still looking forward to something.
So. . .Christ's atonement, foreshadowed in the sacrifices, is still to come?

Cleansing by the blood of Christ, foreshadowed in sprinkling of blood, is still to come?

So the opening by the blood of Christ of the way into relationship with God, foreshadowed by the High Priest entering the Most Holy Place by the blood, is still to come?

So the New Covenant made in the blood of Christ, foreshadowed in the Sinaitic Covenant made in the blood of animals, is still to come?

Go and learn what the NT apostolic letters mean.

[h=3]Ephesians 3[/h]King James Version (KJV)

3 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Ah, perhaps you can show us how the Sabbath foreshadowed this.

[quoteCleansing by the blood of Christ, foreshadowed in sprinkling of blood, is still to come?[/quote]

And perhaps you can explain to us which Holy Days foreshadowed this and how they did?

Maybe you can show us which Holy Day speaks to the return of Christ? Or is that all fulfilled also? The death, burial and resurrection of Christ is but one, albeit very important, part of God's plan. His plan encompasses 7000 years of human history, maybe you can explain this to us.

AMEN! Let's not limit grace, which would shame the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ; but let us ALSO live righteously, as is described by the teaching in the Old Covenant.
We are no longer under the power or punishment of the Old Covenant, but we cannot disrespect our God by ignoring the Way He showed humanity to live, which is found in the Law of Moses.
The sacrificial system has been abolished. The food restrictions have been released. But the way of righteousness is still found in the Torah and Prophets.

Are you suggesting that the Sabbath has no connection to the Messiah?
Are you suggesting that the Holy Feasts and Jubillees weren't foreshadowing the redemption, sacrifice, and coming of Christ?
Please clarify. If you need these things explained, pm me. These are very basic to understanding your salvation.

Of course I am not. I am asking what the Sabbath is the foreshadow of and how it is fulfilled and not needed anymore. How about you posting the fulfillments here publicly for all to see? You first then I will.

This I completely disagree with. Jesus Christ was, is and will be the perfect sacrifice for sin. Sin still requires a payment be made, a sacrifice and Crhist's life is that payment.

Some seem to lack understanding of how salvation in now, and also is to come.
Salvation is finished and assured in the death and resurrection of Christ, but is being held for us til the Last Day. Therefore, salvation has come, and yet is still to come. The Law will remain a distraction to the Jews until the Last Day. The Law will remain profitable and useful to the Christian until the Last Day.

If you don't trust that Christ's death was enough, then you are not in Christ. If you preach Christ plus sacrifice, explain how you sacrifice.
