Colossians 2 says your wrong....

Power and authority is not latter rain nor dominionism, if you are going to attack charismatics, at least have a clue about what some of them believe in.
I'm not attacking charismatics. I'm attacking NAR/hyper-charismatic doctrine. Many charismatics are not part of the NAR/hyper-charismatic movement, yet at the same time there are a number who are.

Power and authority in and of themselves are not latter rain or dominionism. What is dominionism is when people start talking about God giving dominion/authority to humans, Satan stealing it in the fall, Jesus winning it back on the cross, and now all we have to do is claim it back...

That kind of thing is a mild form of dominionism. No, it isn't the full extent of the teaching, but it is foundational for the full extent of the teaching.

And it still puts the focus on the wrong thing.

What right thing should he be focusing on? I am just curious to know where you are coming from.

The gospel that Paul preached -- Jesus' Christ's life, death, and bodily resurrection. How we are sinner's in need of a Savior, and how Jesus Christ is the only one who can save us. How we need to trust Him in every area of our lives. How any righteousness we have only comes from Him. How people are truly saved, how we are saved by grace through faith, etc.

That is a fair question. Thanks for asking.

I am still being fair here, so bear with me. DO you place what Paul says we are to live above what Jesus said? and Do you believe what Jesus said was for only those during his time?

Would say you are a Pauline Christian?

Without defining any terms, let me answer your questions:

I don't think what Paul says contradicts what Jesus said. The same Holy Spirit inspired all of Scripture. I think there is a difference in intent and purpose of the Gospels and the epistles.

I do not place what Paul says about how we are to live above what Jesus says.

I do not believe that what Jesus said was only for His time.

Yes, I would say that I am a Pauline Christian.

Now, I don't know if you and I interpret your questions or some of the phrases in your questions the same way, so we will probably need to go further with this....

We have no authority outside of Christ. Simiel quoted Matthew 28:18 "...All power is given unto Me (Jesus Christ) in heaven and in earth." KJV

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven." Luke 10:19-20 KJV

We receive our authority (power) from Jesus Christ and should not glory in it, but rather be thankful that we have been found worthy to receive salvation.

May God have mercy on all our souls, and lift us up so we can behold his glory in Jesus Christ. Amen.
